Collectible Fun and Builds Skills and Confidence!
My nine year old really enjoys putting these together and collecting them. It helps to build his confidence in his own skills because he is able to assemble the snap ships without help from anyone. I saw a huge difference when he tackled a stem project and again did it on his own. Prior to the snap ships, he would have automatically gone to someone looking for help and not trying first on his own. I believe the snap ships have not only been fun for him but also incredibly beneficial, which was an unexpected bonus. They also go on sale from time to time making them even more of a great value. The display stand that is included is a nice thought for those like my son who want to collect and display them. All things considered, this makes a great stocking stuffer, Easter Basket item, birthday gift, incentive, or just because. We highly approve on this item!

Great item, easy to build.
The Sabre is one of the smaller "mid-sized" Snap Ship sets. Takes about 5-10 minutes putting together the default build in the instruction manual, very easy. There's a small mistake worth noting though, in the first build: the instruction call for panel parts to be plugged into all the underside holes, and yet if you do that, there's no open hole for the support stand for the base. The instructions don't identify that, leaving you to choose which part to leave off. As with the other sets, the parts are very detailed, they fit very well, and of course, you have lots of choices in rebuilding the ship in many different configurations, and they are inexpensive enough that you can buy multiple sets and create monster builds if you like.

Great ship
Really cool ship. The build was easy and fun, and it looks awesome once it’s done. It’s the perfect size for child hands or the tactics gameplay. Easy to customize too—I’ve already swapped parts with a couple other sets. The plastic seems very tough and strong

Cool concept, prefer the KLAW faction ones though
This was a good price at less than 15 dollars. My son saw an ad for this on a tv show and said he wanted it. When asked a few weeks later for his birthday what he wanted, he still wanted it, so he got it and another for his bday. This one is way better. While these come with figures, the figures are not really to play with. The ships however are a pretty cool concept and can withstand rigorous play without breaking apart. They can be used like regular toy ships, and then modified how you like. They have some blasters and such so they are pretty cool. They can even be put on a display stand. These are like Lego met an old school action toy line of ships. Pretty neat. The pieces stay together well and can be put together in a variety of configurations. The fact that it comes with three designs is also neat as they can inspire you to make your own ship using the foundation of the included designs. I’d say an 8 year old will easily get the concept of these and have no problem putting them together and taking them apart. We bought this and another from the KLAW faction which had more interesting pieces in my opinion, and had a more interesting coloring. This one just seemed kind of......plain. If I was buying more I’d lean towards buying more of the KLAW faction but both of them are played with. These are neat and we will see how long it holds the interest of my kids, but for now, they are good buys as they still play with them daily and we like making new designs. I hope they make some more designs at a good price point as I’d look forward to buying them.

Great value
Snap Ships are a compelling product: take the creativity and fun of building blocks like Lego, but make it a system that is honed in for space ships (and a few mechs and tanks). That means that you can more quickly build and re-arrange them, and also that your custom builds look pretty cohesive. If you buy two smaller ships, it takes very little effort to make one larger ship that just looks 'right.' This particular kit is not only the most classic design for a space ship, but it's also, for whatever reason, currently very cheap. This makes it a great value, and a great starter set to try out.

A fantastic toy
This is an incredible, creative toy. The pieces are sturdy and mostly fit well together in different configurations. Some of the missile attachments even fire their projectiles. The configurations aren’t endless, but you can make the base 3 ships with numerous gun/missile/engine options on each. You can probably make 3-4 of your own ships, but the number of pieces will limit your options at some point. The tiny pilot is well detailed, and the overall detailing on the pieces is great. The companion app is a fun perk, but the ship itself has commanded the most fun and attention. I highly recommend this toy and will be buying more sets for Christmas.

A Really cool New Toy and Great Experience
These things were so cool. I initially ordered one to test out the line but as soon as I got my hands on it, I couldn't put them down. They scratch a very Niche itch of mine to have Modular designed systems that create these really cool detailed Space ships!. the pieces are super durable, really well casted and intricately designed. I think they are detailed enough to appeal to older demographics (I'm 24) but also durable enough to appeal to some younger kids. tho i wouldn't recommend them to small children, there are some small pieces and the pilots themselves are TINY. but over all i think they are fantastic and look forward to more releases from this line

Nice!
Both of my boys (9 and 5) love these. The pieces fit together well. Easy to do for big and all fingers. Interesting characters and story like. Pieces snap together to make whatever design you like. I like the stands for all of the larger pieces. Good value especially id you can find them on sale! Fun for the kiddos all around!
