Adorable & Well-Made
Bought this for a Christmas gift drive we do at my workplace, where you pick a specific child/children to buy for and get some information about them and what they want, so unfortunately I have no idea how this has held up the last month or so. XD What I will say is it looked exactly like pictures, no loose threads anywhere on it, very symmetrical even all the way up the horn (good stitching & quality on the pattern), stuffing inside felt nice and even, as did the material used to make it - soft, held its shape at the seams. Now, as previously stated, this lil' guy was given away so I don't know how it's doing, BUT it seems like the kind of well-made and quality stuffed animal that could survive a very long time even with a young kid loving it.

Great Narwhal!
Definetly what I was expecting! If you look at the fabrics that its made out of, you'll see exactly what you're getting! I read alot of reviews before I chose this for my daughters 4th birthday. I compared it to almost every narwhal on Amazon at the time, because she wanted a "realistic" narwhal cake! Yes, the tooth is "floppy", and the body is a little lumpy-ish, but its beautiful, pretty well made, and my daughter LOVES her narwhal!!! I tell her to be carefull of his tooth because narwhals have verry sensitive tooths, so she takes verry good care of his tooth, making sure to keep it as straight as possible. So happy with this purchase!!!

Narwhal is cute, flaccid horn is disconcerting
I like to gift my niece realistic plush aquatic animals in order to foster a love of the sea and irritate my sister. This year her birthday party had a unicorn theme, so a Narwhal was the natural choice. The colors and detailing are wonderful and it really is a nice toy, but the floppiness of the horn makes me feel weird inside. Not just me; my whole family kind of giggled at it until we all realized we were all thinking the same thing. There really should be some kind of rigid frame or structure to keep it from dangling around like a... tentacle. Regardless, the niece loves it and even recognized it as a Narwhal from one of her books. I'm sure it will get along well with the mackerel, squid, and giant marine isopod already nudging her gently in the direction of an expensive Marine Biology degree.

Realistic and soft
My 3 year old asked Santa for a stuffed narwhal for Christmas (I know, right?). So this is what Santa brought him, haha. It's very realistic, a good size, good price, and super soft for snuggles. My one and only complaint is that the horn isn't very reinforced so it flops around and hangs instead of being straight. This doesn't seem to bother my 3 year old at all, however, so, it is what it is. As long as it doesn't eventually rip because he carries it by it sometimes, I'll be a happy camper!

really looks like the real thing, only cuter
I know that the skin could not be realistic as this was a toy. I used this narwhal for a program I presented at the NYS Veterans' Home in Montrose, NY. I entertain the residents of the home once a month & include a lecture on an animal.
