Nice, large shark. Not very soft.
This is a fairly large shark, perfect for a toddler who is obsessed with them. It's 2 feet long, very substantial feeling, and features a the ferocious looking aquatic creature! The paint job is okay, with some colors being over painted in some areas, but it's fine enough for a child's toy. The open mouth has some scary looking teeth which my boy loves. While this shark is large and painted well enough, it's advertised as "soft" which really isn't that accurate. It has a smooth texture to the surface, but it's still very firm, plasticky feeling. Still, it's one large piece which doesn't leave any extra pieces to lose so it's easy to play with. The shark toy functions as you would expect any large shark toy to, but it's priced a little high compared to what it offers. But, if you have a kid obsessed with sharks, like mine, they will love this oversized toy!

It's belly glows!
This shark is huge! I knew it was 24" from the description, but it still surprised me when I took it out of the box. I expected the eyes and teeth to light up (as mentioned in the listing), but it surprised me when the belly started glowing too! Not sure if that was intentional or just a bonus with mine, but my kids and I liked it. The material is not super soft and squishy like a plushie, but it's not hard either. I’d say it's somewhere in the middle. The colors are nice as well. Overall, this would make a good gift for someone who likes sharks, and it was a good value and a good purchase.

Big shark! Big fun! But does not glow in the dark
This shark toy is quite large and well-made, holding up nicely to my son's play. It still looks as good as it did the day we got it, so I have no real complaints about the quality. However, I did want to mention that it came with a tag stating it glows in the dark, but I haven't seen it glow at all. I've tried bringing it into the dark to test it, but there's been no glowing effect. Overall, it's a great toy, but the glow-in-the-dark feature was a bit disappointing.

Major hit with the 6yo!
This shark came in a HUGE box! I was kind of nervous it would be too big, but the product photos are realistic. I think it was a return because it was dirty on the underside, and not in a bag of any kind. It cleaned up ok. It also had some scratches on it, that are fine, cuz he looks tuff, but it might bother some. There is a shark fact card included. The glow in the dark is not amazing, but a fun feature for my son. He loves the shark and cannot wait to take him in for bath! Overall, it’s a cool toy!

Cool looking shark, but heavy for its size.
This shark is pretty cool looking. I like the design. The open mouth is cool, and the tail fin is bent as if swimming. I tested the glow in the dark teeth in a closet and they do glow well enough, although I wouldn't say they are super white. Plenty for up close. The shark is a substantial toy in weight and size. The plastic is thick, does not seem cheap or thin in any way, and is soft and pliable, while the fins maintain their shape. The shark is hollow and so there is some give (but not too much) to the body when squeezed, and the fins can be bent and moved. The details are good in the eyes, gills, teeth and fins. I am giving it four stars because it is heavy for it's size. It would be heavy for a toddler to hold (recommended for 3 and older) and would hurt if a child were to get hit with it. Also, the blue color of the plastic has flaws. The blue color seems to be part of the plastic and would be hard to scrape off (I tried to scrape it with my fingernail and it left no mark), but even so there are small white marks on the tip of the nose, a few of the fins, and the side of the body where it should be blue, and this looks like a flaw in the manufacturing process. The white marks are not a big enough flaw to return. I am def keeping this guy for all the young children who come to my house to visit. I think it's going to be a favorite in the swim spa!
