WARNING!!!! THIS IS A TOXIC PRODUCT First of all I would like to mention I don't write reviews very often but I do buy from Amazon very frequently. The reason I bought these balls was because we, my husband and I, are teaching our 16 month old baby how to swim. Following some ideas from his swimming academy, we decided to purchase these balls to encourage him in the pool... We got them August 21st. 2015, they were shipped uninflated. The reason why we had to get an specific pump and wait until yesterday night (Friday 8/28) to inflate them in order to get ready for the pool the following day. The first thing we noticed was the SMELL, a very strong dusty chemical smell, (this is the first time we got a toy for our son with that ugly smell), anyway we gave the balls a chance, pump air, washed and saved them for the following day....terrible mistake! Next day, our baby found the colorful, fun balls and started playing with them, we also played with him.... SHORT STORY: our baby got red itchy watery eyes, runny nose, small welts around eyes, nose, mouth, neck and arms.We both got itchy eyes, nose, arms and legs. I suffer from Rosacea which is under control, I got a flare-up from these balls, my cheeks and nose were red and burning.. TREATMENT: took off our clothes, shower, plenty of fluids, Dimetapp for the baby, Benadryl for us. I always check the product rates and customer reviews before every purchase, everything looked ok... Of course after this situation I took a second look to the reviews and I am surprised only two people before me mentioned about the terrible smell these balls have and no reactions. I don't think these balls are BPA-free, latex-free..etc etc....these balls are TOXIC, so please be careful, we had a serious situation today. I will initiate the return process, I definitely want my money back.
