Adds great variations to the characters
Bought this for my husband for his birthday. This ended up being a great expansion because it adds a lot of variations to the characters you already like playing from sentinels of the multi-verse. I found the foil to be interesting it adds a neat look to the cards. The text does not have foil directly underneath it so you can still read the cards. We also don't have all the expansions so it did provide some spoilers on what was possible to get for the future expansions. The box it came in is pretty cool looking too!

Perfect quality. Perfect addition.
My board game group and I are obsessed with Sentinel Comics and Sentinels of the Multiverse. So much so, that we even make our own cards. If you are like me and want to own every part of this universe, these cards are beautiful. As someone who was late to the boat and missed a number of the early promotional cards, it was nice to have the complete set!

Nice to get all the variants for our SotM game
Nice to get all the variants for our SotM game, but the foil is really hard to read, as commented on by my 4 regular players as well as myself--thus the 4 stars. I would have must rather just had them in the regular format..You get multiple variants of every hero (at least 3,sometimes 5). This even includes heroes from the unreleased Kickstarter. Just realize that this is only the main character cards in normal size, not the decks of powers, so if you don't have the hero's full set from a previous game expansion, you won't be able to use them.,

Got these for a friend for his birthday. The card art is fantastic and we all love all the new alternate versions of existing heroes and are looking forward to playing the new heroes not yet released! I recommend getting card sleeves to protect the nice foil character cards!!

Great addition to game
These foil cards make the game even better. They are more than just shiny cards.The variations of the heroes can really change up the game. Great purchase for this game if you get the expansions and promo cards as well. I would definitely recommend putting them in card protector sleeves. Can't wait for the next expansion to use the other cards.

Cool variant cards if not for printing problem.
Finally opened the sealed pack of cards today. It looks like during the printing process the black ink on some of the cards bleed into the power box and the artwork which is really disappointing.

Pure Awesomeness
This is pure awesomeness! I thought I wouldn't be able to own these variants because I never pre-ordered the games, and because the cards on their own were too expensive. Then this comes out! The cards look awesome, and it is just great to have all these variants!
