Surprising Find
I *really* like the Blanc brand of puzzles. Even the box feels special. It’s sturdy and thick with finished insides instead of the usual raw cardboard and a it’s a cool shape. The pieces come in a nicer quality plastic zip bag that’s convenient and seems like it will hold up over time. There is a folded poster inside that’s good sized for detail, about 75% of the puzzle dimensions. I haven’t noticed any puzzle dust in the packaging, split ends or bent pieces. The 300-piece puzzles have larger pieces, so the image size is still satisfying. The image itself is sharp with good color. The pieces look high quality and feel dense, almost clinking when dropped on a hard surface. The fit is solid, not wiggly nor too tight. The paper board used for the pieces is white throughout which adds to the overall impression of the whole package. This is definitely a pleasurable experience for a jigsaw puzzle and very giftable. This particular puzzle is fun to build as the image has lots of specific detail and not much monotone area (like blank sky or water). I’m trying to think of a negative. I would like to see more images offered. I do like the collection. High quality photography, not too sappy.

Blanc Consistent Quality
Thick glossy snug fitting larger than normal pieces w/o being huge. Pieces are large enough to show detail allowing you to use the included "Treasure Map" to locate position. A vertical oriented puzzle that after I construct the border I spit it in half. Working the top half to the right of the bottom half. Keeps the work in front eliminates arm tiring due to overreaching.
