Wassertankpinsel
Ich nutze ihn für die Aquarellmalerei, bzw. um Tuscheskizze zu kolorieren. Er tropft nicht, die abgegebene Wassermenge kann durch Druck variiert werden und er ist zudem ideal um damit unterwegs malen zu können. Der Pinsel wird einfach mit klarem Wasser befüllt und kann auch so befüllt gut transportiert werden. Ich habe zusätzlich noch den dicken lilanen und den ganz dünnen gelben Wassertankpinsel und male eigentlich nur noch mit diesen.

Ich hatte bisher keinen Vergleich zu anderen Artikeln dieser Art. Für meine Ansprüche total ausreichend. Für zarte, feine Linien werde ich mir noch den feineren Wassertankpinsel zulegen.

I’m still using this two years later. It’s in fantastic condition after much use. Amount of water dispensed is easy to control and does not leak.

Makes a great wet-erase marker spot eraser
I got the compact (short) medium brush as a non-painting experiment. I use wet-erase markers on laminated forms and was looking for a convenient, portable, no-mess way to selectively erase without wiping the whole sheet clean. This water brush together with a dry paper towel works great. The brush provides ample water to dissolve the marker without leaving a puddle or droplets on the sheet. The result is easy to blot up with the towel. Because there's so little excess water, even wiping with the towel seldom smears. The brush point lets me clear areas much smaller than would be practical with the folded corner of a wet paper towel, and with no risk of accidently erasing something I wanted to keep. I've only had the brush for a few weeks, so I can't comment on long-term durability, but I've experienced no leaks just tossing the capped brush in a pencil box with the markers. It's been lying flat, right-side up, upside-down, you name it. [Added 19 months later] Still no leaks without being the least bit fussy about storage. Pretty well made!

Zig Medium Watercolor brush is a great tool for 10 yr olds to learn to paint
Zig Medium Watercolor brush is a great tool for 10 yr olds to learn to paint. I gave it to my granddaughter to use with her Peerless water colors and she was able to stay the course with it. I also gave one to her friend. I have a small and a large one that I have had for years and they just keep on going. I don't lose the hair in the brush and the small one is great for detail.

Always carry a Zig water brush everywhere you go.
I really like the Zig water brushes. I use them for watercolor, Inktense Pencils, Neocolor II colors and Art Bars. They are great to use with my field box of watercolors though I prefer traditional watercolor brushes for larger watercolors. The Zig brushes have good times and feed water at a useable rate.
