These sand art products are great fun and quite simple for kids to complete and the finished product looks great! Needs some adult supervision to collect up the excess sand and get it back into the container but a great way to pass a bit of time on a rainy day!

Easy to setup craft set!
This sand art set provides an enjoyable arts and crafts activity. The process involves peeling off sections of the picture and then pouring and brushing coloured sand onto the exposed areas. The set includes a tray to work on, which helps collect the excess sand that is brushed or shaken off. One suggestion for improvement would be to include a pot for collecting the excess sand, allowing users to create a rainbow sand mix for reuse. For future use, I plan to find a spare pot to do this. My 6 year old son was engaged with this activity for about an hour. The set is easy to set up and put away, with minimal cleanup required beyond a quick wipe and vacuum. The kit includes several pictures to complete, making it a good value for the price.

A fun activity, and the results are great.
Explored this with 3 of my grandkids, ages 6, 8 and 10. The 10-year-old loved it and was quite at home doing everything herself. The eight-year-old managed all on his own but, on one picture, inadvertently peeled off most of the backing too – so ended up with an ‘interesting’ result; it looked like a racing car on fire which he was pleased with. The youngest needed a little more help. It was hard for him to locate and peel off the top strip, but he was happy pouring and brushing the sand then shaking and tapping it off onto a piece of paper. It’s not exactly a mess free activity. There are 24 pictures (this set was transport) with 12 sand pens which worked extremely well. You have to peel off a small part of the protective strip, then pour sand and brush it on to the revealed sticky part of the picture. Then shake off the sand – this is where the most mess appears. We shook the sand onto paper, but it inevitably went everywhere. It’s a clean mess, though, easy to brush up. I would say suitable for the intended age ranges, but the younger ones will need a lot of adult help. Overall, a fun afternoon, and the results were great.

My child enjoyed it very much!
My little girl absolutely enjoyed this sand art kit. She spent hours painting the cards and proudly gifted them to us. It’s a fun and creative activity that kept her engaged. Priced at £11.99 at the time of review, I think it’s very reasonable for the amount of fun and value it provides. Highly recommended as a gift for any young children.

Brilliant
This is a brilliant afternoon activity for a toddler and it is skilfully designed. The sand comes in bottles with a pouring spout and a lid. A tray is provided for containing the port sand and saving the excess - which together extends the life of the craft kit. The absolute best feature of this is that no glue is required, as the designs have stickers on them and you just peel off the areas you want to colour. Excellent variety of colours and designs, and plenty of designs included too so this can be used many many times. Would definitely get this again or give as a gift.
