Very comforting to cuddle plus an edit.
This is a gorgeous koala bear in every way, but I'll go beyond that and recommend him as a cuddle buddy for all ages. When my husband died I first took to sleeping with his shirt and then - why not - an old teddy bear. I don't know why we ever gave them up! My anxiety settles in my chest and solar plexus and the pressure points from cuddling this koala bear settle exactly there and soothe and calm me. He kind of hugs you back which is lovely. Never mind your age - if you're in need of comfort And cuteness, buy this bear! Note: I have decided to edit my review because I have bought lots of these bears as presents and extras over the years, and as Amazon's Number One koala bear purchaser (Amazon sends me reminders in case I'm running out! ????) what I have to say is legit! About a year ago the quality started to go down. The bears are not as cute and high quality as they once were - I even had to return one, and I've bought a lot! The last 4 I bought appeared to have been carelessly cut out and sewn together, their noses were too long and/or wonky, the eyes misplaced and the hair around them messed up, and the one I bought this week looked like a little old man with a long, slightly droopy nose and oversized ears. I would have sent him back but he looked so pitiful I decided to let him age out at home with me. ????. I can't have had bad luck 5 times in a row - odds are the quality has gone down which is a real shame. I really hope that the quality returns to its old level because the old bears were Perfect! Good luck!

Looks so real & so soft
So soft, so realistic, almost looks real. Bought for 5yo grandson who loves Koloas. Sleeps with it every night. Beautiful and good priced.

Got this for my grandson's fifth Birthday. He loved it. It is very plush and cuddly! It is made really well.

Good Koala-ty
Very cute and cuddly. Shipping was very fast although I wish it had been in a box instead of an envelope so it didn't get a little smushed. However, the koala itself is super adorable and cuddly. I read other reviews saying the quality wasn't that good but personally I think they're just being picky because nothing in life is perfect. I for one love my koala and named him Ashton after the drummer from 5SOS :) You should get it if you love koalas! He's really soft and his eyes are really adorable. He's super cute and cuddly too. As an avid stuffed animal lover I only really like the ones that are higher quality and this koala certainly is one of the better quality plushes I've seen. I also have the Fennec Fox in this brand so I can attest for the quality of the brand in general. Overall, you should get it! :)

Was a little disappointed as this was not the same koala pictured I wanted to replace my older koala (chunky) that was destroyed by my puppy. That being said this new one was easy to get attached to, he was promptly dubbed Albert and he’s very soft. I Still miss the old model but as far as koala plushies go wild republic has some of the better ones. I wish there had been some notice on that though, also having a lightly larger size would be super cool too I’ve been looking for a 24” koala in this style for years but it seemingly does not exist.

Beautiful, realistic koala with a very sweet face
The koala bear was for a relative in hospital, who was feeling lonely and very down. I knew how much he loves koalas, and how delighted he would be with his new furry friend. He loved it, and immediately gave koala a name, i.e. Colin! ???? It's beautiful, very soft and the perfect size for cuddling. Well made and amazing value for money. All that's needed now is to order one for myself (another big kid at heart!) ????
