Love this bird!
I bought this plush bird for my boyfriend since we call each other birds after an inside joke that stuck. I got a rose finch for him and a northern flicker for me since those are our bird names for each other. We live 8 hours apart so this is the perfect thing to cuddle when we are in between visits. I love how it has the authentic bird noise and came with an info card on the bird and where it lives. It's the perfect size and very soft. My only complaint is it seems to be impossible to change the battery (no flap or way to access the batteries except for cutting the bird open). Very happy with this purchase and it was exactly what I was wanting!

Cute and Beautiful Northern Flicker
This is a very cute Northern Flicker made with soft stuffing and plush fabric with rich colors. It makes sounds like the actual bird if you squeeze it. It is well worth the price even if the sound stops working in the future, as one reviewer mentioned happening.

Realistic bird plush and sound from Audubon
Another excellent plush from Audubon that has both realistic colors, patterns, shapes as well as sounds. My daughter is an animal behavior and wildlife specialist and she loves these. A nice plush as well as being a good educational toy.

I LOVE THIS BIRD
Members of my family have now bought about a dozen of these Wild Republic Plush Birds with Authentic Bird Sounds. My kids save up for them with their own money, and I like to give them as gifts. They always look exactly as pictured, so we're not misled or disappointed. The sounds are pretty realistic, too, and sometimes we are tricked into thinking we hear a real bird when this toy sings. Of the birds we've purchased, most of them last well over two years (sometimes 3-4 years) on the delivered battery. There doesn't seem to be any way to change a battery, though, so once they're out, you are just left with a cute little stuffed bird.
