It's like an audio meme in a cute bird form!
The media could not be loaded. Consistent sound! Not super annoyingly loud, but when put to a mic was clear and identifyable and distinct about what bird we were hearing - good price for the money. I don't know how long the battery will last, but over the course of 10 days of playing the sound at least a few times an hour, it didn't quit. Hope I can replace the battery when it does run out. It screeches twice. By the way, this is the typical "American Freedom" sound folks have when showing a bald eagle, which sounds completely different. It's like an audio meme for duty to country, responsibility to fellow citizens as part of the freedoms we exercise as Americans!

My Sheltie Loves Her Hawk Named "Henry"
This will be Libby's 3rd Hawk. Nothing happened to Henry the Hawk except that Libby took it outside and left it in the rain. Unfortunately, the squeaker doesn't survive the rain very well. Thank goodness it's a reasonable price and I can replace it. Libby will be happy again once she has her hawk. The first time she received her hawk, she was afraid of the realistic hawk noise, but now she runs around with the hawk in her mouth squeaking it over and over.

I liked the old version better that had flappy wings and was softer. But this still is great to have and represent our mascot with elementary students.
