Great Kit, but order Super Glue for the metal rod bracing that comes with this kit.
This is a very nicely designed kit and faithful to the original prototypes. The one I purchased was in N scale, molded in gray. I considered the buying the built-up version before buying this one but liked the idea of being able to apply my own paint choice. I've completed quite a few kits from Walthers and other craftsman type kits. While the main parts of this kit are easy to assemble, the cross braces (at least in N scale) are very small pre-cut metal wires that must be applied one by one with cyanoacrylate glue (Super Glue, Gorilla Super Glue Gel). This is because of the dissimilar materials. It's pretty tedious to glue them in, and while satisfying when completed, may prove to be frustrating to some. Knowing this, I more likely would have sprung for the extra money for the built-up model version of the same model... I should add that a decal sheet with individual letters will allow for a town or industry name to be added to the tank. I'd suggest doing this before mounting the tank assembly on top of the tower. The letters are black, so it would be important to use a lighter color for the tank if you want to use them.

Complete garbage
It’s a million tiny plastic pieces that you’ll break most of trying to get them out of the mold. Absolute nightmare. Don’t waste your money

Perfect for N scale railroad models!
I purchased this for my dad who has picked up the hobby of model train sets. This fit perfectly with his N scale set. The build quality, fine detail, and ease of assembly. He had it set up in his industrial yard model quickly. Highly recommend.

Be mindful to square it up.
I bought this for the caged ladder to use in another project. I went ahead and built the rest and weathered it severely. Straightforward. Another quality Cornerstone kit and a nice addition to the layout. The wire cross braces are a pain if all the other structural parts are not squared up perfectly, so watch out for that.
