This elephant, is a great little toy that will help to entertain now, and help to teach later.
I babysit for a little buddy, who is 4 months old right now. He already loves looking at, and singing with this toy. It has so many different options, games, and settings, that it is something that not only entertains him now, but it will be something that teaches him as he grows. It arrived quickly, and with everything working already when I unboxed it. I wish that unboxing it would have been easier. They really shouldn't lock a toy up, like Fort Knox, if it isn't being sold in a store. I wish manufacturers would work on how they box items for store sales, and for shipped/mailed sales. So, this is absolutely nothing against the "store" that I purchased the toy from, but more of a complaint about the manufacturer's packing procedures. The store that I purchased it from sent it quickly and packed it well. They could have used a smaller box and saved themselves the cost of shipping it; Otherwise, it was perfect!

this will be a long time favorite toy
I bought this for Christmas for my 15 month old son, and he is now three and a half and it still looks brand new. I love this product so much. It has different stages to it which is great for a younger toddler and also great for preschoolers. The pages are a very durable plastic material yet soft with rounded edges. It teaches you so much and has so many interactive sounds, phrases, colors, alphabet, EVERYTHING! My son thinks its a toy but I think its more of a book so its great for both of us because I want him to read and learn from books and of coarse him being a toddler he wants toys, so it tricks him into learning and he loves it. It has nice features like volume control and its lightweight with a handle so my toddler can carry it anywhere. This will definitely be a long time favorite toy.

Great learning toy that will be useful for a long time!
"Elephant wants you to go-oooo on a learning adventure! Open the book, there's much to explore!" I hate this thing. But my daughter loves it, and that's what counts. She's 15mos. old now and she's had it for about 4 months. At first she just liked to push the buttons and watch the lights go off, flip the pages, check out the pictures. Now that she's learning to talk she enjoys pointing to things and having me tell her the name, repeating it back to me, etc. The more advanced option for her age group seems to be reading along with the story and selecting the button that corresponds to the image ("can you find the apple?"). There are so many options here thanks to the different modes that she can entertain herself for a long while, and if she starts to get bored I flip it to music mode, or reading mode, and she plays a bit longer, repeating what the elephant says. It's a wonderful learning tool and I can see it really being great when she's 2, 3, maybe even 4 as the story in the book will be great when she's learning to read.

Excellent for "Teaching" and "Learning on their own"
Excellent for "teaching" hands on and also "learning" playing with on their own! Fabulous!! Highly recommend!!! Ordered for our precious Caleb Christian's very 1st Birthday Celebration coming up July 1st!!! We know he will absolutely LOVE IT!! He loves playing with a "younger age" VTech, my daughter is teaching him ABC's, along with limited teaching apps on that one. We both got so excited when looking on Amazon for a bit more advance VTech and where happy to find this "Elephant" with so many "Learning" features! We ordered early, got it in, oh WOW!!! So many learning apps to teach Caleb!!! He is going to be THRILLED!!! He is very smart and pays close attention when my daughter sits on the floor with him with the VTech and repeats what is said. Caleb looks at her and tries to sound out each letter, very impressive for almost a 1 year old!!! Please order this Elephant for your precious child or Grandchild!!! Of course great gift for niece,, nephew, Godchild, etc! Precious ones will play for hours learning and the Joy of Teaching your little one can not ever be replaced!! Make New Memories!!!

So much learning in one fun toy!
We gave this as a gift to our great granddaughter. She just turned a year old. She was ready to get it! Everything it claims to do, it does! Numbers, colors, stories, music...I think I'm going to purchase one for my, soon to be 3yrs old, granddaughter! The sound is clear, it's adorable and lots of fun!

Great toy, very happy.
My son really loves this toy. He loves how it can do so many different things, & it's helping him to recognize more letters & colours. It's definitely well worth the price. He can spend ages playing with it all the different ways.

Excelente libro
A mi bebé le encanta, ya sabe cambiar las páginas y algo importante es que es resistente pues un bebé no tiene el cuidado de un adulto para un libro. Le encantan las canciones aunque todavía no sabe responder las preguntas confío en que aprenderá con su libro de elefante.
