Very Convenient
I ordered these paints to let my Girl Scout troop "Paint the Leaders." We wore white and let them paint us - with brushes, hands, whatever they wanted. The event was a huge success! These squeeze tubes were perfect for getting the paint onto plates for them, and there's quite a bit of paint in each one. I will say that the paint didn't completely wash out of my white t-shirt, BUT I also let it sit for about a week before it went into the laundry. It didn't matter for me, but I'd recommend being careful with what you let the paint get on until you've had a chance to test it for yourself.

Missing Red
Don't get me wrong, this set of tempera paints is great. The colors are vibrant, they have nice viscosity, not too runny, not too thick. They are easy to seal and reseal because of the twist top, the squeezable pouch makes them kid friendly, but, they don't have red. I mean it's a color set. What kind of set doesn't have one of the primary colors? Especially since the pictures show red. It's deceptive. I'd give a worse rating if the other paints weren't great. Update your pictures or make it clear your pictures are inaccurate. I'll gladly update my score to reflect the quality of these paints if the storefront and packaging are honest.

Nice Set For Kids
The colors in this set of surprisingly dense tempera paint are very bright, and all pastels. There are no deep or saturated colors, and even more surprisingly, no red. Children are bananas for red and look for it right away. There is a reddish orange. The paint is creamy and fairly opaque. The paint bags are very practical for storing, and even prestigious names like Sennelier now market their (acrylic) paints in bags. I don't have any problem with tubes, which are more resilient against damage; it's very simple to just cut the end of the tube off when you're at the end and be astonished to find a whole teaspoon of paint that wouldn't even come out with a wringer. Since this is washable tempera, and geared for children, it's certainly better than the standard tempera jars that get spilled everywhere if they're just touched carelessly. All in all a nice set, if the scowling children ever forgive you for it not including red paint. Tulip is a quality brand, and the tempera in this kit is good.
