Schönes Modell
Sehr schönes Modell, gab es schon von einer anderen Firma - wird dasselbe sein. Arbeitet man genau, ist auch keine Spachtelmasse nötig.

Was für Bastler....
Bei diesem Modellbausatz handelt es sich um die Formen von Bilek die auch schon mal unter dem Label von Italeri aufgelegt wurden. Die Bauteile sind an sich sauber hergestellt und verfügen über versenkte Blechstöße. Leider sieht es bei den Details nicht so gut aus, das Cockpit ist sehr einfach gehalten, ebenso der Platz des Bombenschützen. Beim Platz des Heckschützen fehlt jegliche Details, man kann in den Rumpf hineinschauen. Die Form der IL-28 wird aber gut wiedergeben und hat so gesehen nur wenige Macken, mit die größte sind die viel zu tiefen Hauptfahrwerksschächten. An Abwurfmaterial liegt genug dabei und es gibt einen Extra Spritzling der einen anderen Heckstand sowie Tip-Tanks enthält. Nun was über die Pass Genauigkeit, die ist leider nicht so optimal, auch wenn man sehr viel trocken anpasst sind einige Stellen wie zb die Triebwerksgondeln nicht optimal. Hier muss man mit Spachtel ran, ohne geht es nicht, beim Rumpf sieht es wieder besser aus, bei den Flügeln kommt man aber wieder nicht drum herum zu spachteln. Leider läst auch die Bauanleitung einige Teile im Dunkeln, hier muss man selber nach Fotos schauen. Die Farbangaben sind von Tamiya und stimmen leider auch nicht überall mit dem Original überein. Hier heißt es auch Fotos anschauen. Es liegen Decals für 3 Versionen bei, zwei in Metall und eine in Tarnfarbe (2-Ton). Der Preis ist vollkommen ok für das Modell und man hat später einen seltenen Flieger in der Vitrine stehen. Wer mehr Details haben will muss entweder was von Pavla oder Eduard zukaufen. Man kann aber sich auch Teile selber herstellen um das Modell aufzuwerten, dies bleibt aber jeden selbst überlassen.

Kindertage
Ein Modell aus den Kindertagen von Trumpeter, aber immerhin eine Il-28 als Spritzgußmodell, welches wohl doch (Vergleich fehlt mir) mehr zu bieten haben wird als der Airfix-Klassiker. Allerdings: Grabentiefe Gravuren der ungenauen Art, klobige Details und eine merkwürdige Zusammenstellung von baubaren Versionen, Markierungsvarianten und Farbangaben. Lässt sich was draus machen, behaupte ich vorsichtig - aber nicht stumpf ausm Kasten. Allerdings ein schönes Anfänger- oder fortgeschrittener Anfänger...-modell.

Buen nivel de detalle
Modelo de avión no muy común. Sorprende la relación calidad precio: sin ser un modelo excepcional en detalles, Trumpeter ofrece un buen producto.

タミヤの100分の1シリーズが再販され懐かしくてIL28を購入。 ほかにないかと探した結果この製品になりました。 私が購入したときは送料込みで1500円ほどでしたが高騰してしまったようです。 製品は古いトランぺッターでさすがにモールド、仕上げは雑ですが困難を感じるほどではありません。 細身のイリューシンのシルエットを良く表しています。 サイズも72分の1と標準なので他の飛行機とも合わせられます。

Nice Kit, Though Old
I have always liked the IL-28, and have built two of the Airfix 1 72 kits. (They are long out of production.) The Airfix kits had moving ailerons and rudder, and retracting wheels. This Trumpeter kit, also 1 72, has no moving parts except for the tail-guns. I modified it so the ailerons, elevators, and rudder would all move, so the wheels would turn, and so that the hatches top and bottom and the canopy would all open and close. The kit is clearly an early design, and has some updates right in the box. The most obvious is the tail-gun assembly. Two assemblies are provided. The instructions tell you to cut the old assembly off the fuselage and build and glue on the new assembly. This is easy, and a big improvement. The turret in the new assembly makes a perfect globe, and by using the sprue-attachments as a pivot (top and bottom), you can get the turret to swivel side to side. The wings are a little too thick for accuracy, but this is minor. One big improvement over the old Airfix is the shape of the jet cowlings. The Airfix kit had them squared off in front. This Trumpeter kit has them accurately (and beautifully) rounded and sloped. The outside of the skin is smooth and glossy; and the dove gray plastic takes paint well. I painted this one in tan-with-green tiger-stripes from the North Vietnamese army. The kit comes with decals for the USSR, China, and Poland. For mine, I had to scare up an unused USAF Stars-and-Stripes flash and tint it yellow. There are two crew members, but they look hideous (another old design) and I discarded them. The cockpit is minimally detailed. Overall, the molding of the parts is good and pleasing to the eye.

Trovato ad un molto interessante. Kit di ottima fattura con molti dettagli. Arrivato nei tempi e con imballo impeccabile. Non vedo l'ora di costruirlo
