Je me suis arraché les cheveux de n'avoir pas acheté ce coffret quand il est sorti, parce qu'il est vite devenu dur à trouver et dans de rares occasions où je le voyais il était à un prix exhorbitant (60, 70€)... Le voir maintenant revenir en stock, et au tarif très attractif de 33,49€ m'a fait repousser les cheveux !! J'ai vu les dvd bon nombre de fois, et donc je connais leur qualité... Eh bien même après autant de visions, le blu-ray m'a fait redécouvrir ces 3 films et j'ai même remarqué quelques petits détails que je n'avais jamais vu. Au niveau de l'image, sur l'ensemble de trois films, j'ai constaté une baisse de qualité sur une seule scène. Soit environ 3 minutes sur plus de 7h, autant dire que c'est du très haut niveau et que le plaisir est au rendez-vous ! Au niveau du son, le DTS français est très bon, mais le PCM en VO est détonnant et vous entraîne dans cette aventure corps et âmes. Pendant les dialogues on entends tous les petits détails de cette bande son et c'est une expérience quasiment unique (on compte le nombre de films profitant des pistes PCM sur les doigts de la main...), je ne saurais que trop vous conseiller de regarder cette trilogie dans sa langue d'origine, tellement meilleure en interprétation ainsi qu'en qualité... Les menus sont excellents, ils donnent l'impression d'être dans l'attraction à Disney Land ! A chaque film, un blu-ray bonus est à l'appel et est bourré de contenu, malheureusement souvent en SD, mais inévitable pour ceux qui les apprécient. Donc si vous avez un lecteur blu-ray et que vous aimez les pirates, cette trilogie est un must have !!

A ce prix, j'avais peur de n'avoir qu'un minimum de bonus.... Hé bien non, c'est bien la réédition avec les 6 Blurays ! L'image est superbe. Je ne vais pas m'étendre dessus, on trouve aisément sur le web les avis élogieux des spécialistes. Les bonus de POTC2 sont de loin les plus instructifs, ils permettent de suivre les péripéties du tournage (de la postprod aux effets spéciaux). On y découvre tous les talents de Gore Verbinski, l'histoire du costume de Jack, Keira Knightley m'a épaté par ses talents à l'épée... Le moins : Les menus auraient mérités un petit lifting.

Le coffret "Pirates des Caraïbes" Blu ray est à ajouter dans votre collection des meilleurs disques Blu ray ! Mis à part "Avatar" et "Inception", la qualité de l'image est éblouissante, même si on agrandit l'image plein écran en 16/9 ème... Les disques restituent fidèlement les couleurs, contrastes, et la bande son est superbe ! Les films sont toujours aussi excellents... Que demander de plus ? Un format IMax pour les films à venir ? Si vous l'avez déjà en DVD, n'hésitez pas, la version Blu ray est exceptionnelle !

Spectacular Blu-ray port
Just so this is 100% clear, this is for the Seven-Disc Blu-ray version released 3/1/11. The set includes 7 discs, one for each movie, containing the movie, one for each movie, containing extras and a 7th disc, which is basically more extras and a preview of the 4th movie. The packaging of this set is awful. The seventh disc is in an envelope that bulges out from back of the storage box. Thinking it was attached with easy to remove rubber glue, I tried to peel it off. I was horrified to find out that a) it won't easily peel off without ripping the box b) there's a giant blank silver reflective patch under it (practically the size of the entire back of the box) and c) the envelope is attached at the bottom of the box and cannot be separated without cutting. For anyone planning to keep this on their shelf, do NOT try to remove the cheap outer envelope. Personally, all my discs are going into a different storage system, so the box was headed to the trash anyway. Just wanted to give everyone some fair warning about the poor packaging. On to the good... I am not a huge fan of these movies content. The first one is decent, the second is tolerable and the third is downright terrible. Rather than bash poor writing and the other host of problems with the movie, let me say this: these Blu-rays look and sound absolutely incredible. In the first movie, there's a scene in the beginning where Elizabeth Swan is waking up from her dream about rescuing William Turner as a child. There is a candle in the room. I can hear the candle flickering on the surround sound. There are many other great instances on this film: sails flapping in the wind, waves lapping, wind blowing, ships creaking. I have no Blu-ray movies that are truly 100% immersive, this set is as close as it gets. The action scenes are also great. They didn't overdo the bass or LFE at all, like most action films unfortunately do. The fact that the audio is produced in full lossless LPCM 5.1 (48kHz, 24-bit) makes a huge difference. Visually, the movie is just as stunning. Disney is well known for doing an awesome job of porting their movies to Blu-ray and this is no exception. This is truly a reference quality set of movies and I highly recommend it to anyone who really wants to show off their home theater system and put it through its paces. This is, by far, the best looking Blu-ray set I've ever seen. If you want to see the future of home theater, buy this set. Absolutely awesome.

The corners of the box had some scuffs but nothing major, the Blu-ray discs and their cases were in mint condition, all in all got exactly what I wanted without having to spent extra money on 4k releases that are worse than the original Blu-rays and the 2 unwanted sequels that are trash
Ich denke, es macht wenig Sinn, den Film jetzt ausführlich zu beschreiben, da ihn fast jeder kennt und es sehr gute und ausführliche Inhaltsangaben im Netz in Hülle und Fülle gibt. Ein Klassiker, der Johnny Depp unsterblich gemacht hat. Piratenspaß mit Gruselfaktor. Die Qualität ist hervorragend und es gibt für mich nichts zu meckern.
