Extremely Dissapointed
I used to buy HO Bachmann trains when I was younger. As an adult, when I decided to get back into trains, I decided to buy a brand that I trusted. I'm not sure if it's just their N Scale trains, but I was severely disappointed in the quality of this train set. It fell apart after very little usage. I ended up buying a Kato train, and the quality difference is night and day. Save yourself the hassle and spend the extra money to buy a Kato train.

Not what Bachmann use to be
Bachmann trains are not the high quality items they use to be, I was getting back into trains after many years but I'm giving up all ready this stuff today is just no where near the quality that Bachmann use to be, so disappointed

Issues from the get go
Ok, I get this is a cheap item, as model railroads parts are expensive (i am doing my first layout, so didn't want to spend a lot of money of the train itself at this time (future layouts will not be with a set), however I expect it to not have issues with the parts. It comes with an optional set of couplers if you want to switch them out, however one of the screwholes on the tropicana car was stripped, so the screw wouldn't hold it in place....took a few times running it on the track for the coupler to keep falling out. Was initially gonna glue it in place and use it that way, but as it's brand new i shouldn't have to do that. The track is also a bit "persnickety" to put together, as one side or the other keeps wanting to sit higher that the joining track, so it's a bit difficult to get it all aligned properly. HOWEVER, before the screw started falling out, and once the track together appropriately, it ran fine.
