Great set
These are absolutely great for cartoons. I am a big fan of the colour sets too but the greyscale is even more useful. The brush end is responsive and lets you knock things up very swiftly and the fine end is pleasantly firm for delicate work. You can blend them easily but if you keep the touch light you can lay down shading without disturbing existing lines. The lightest shade is fabulous for roughing out. It's worth being aware that the greys are not all the same tone; one of the mid ones is blue-ish. I find that quite useful myself but it's good to know in advance.

Great Product & Worth The Price
I'm an amateur artist who loves to test out different mediums and tools. These pen brushes make me want to doodle all day long! I love the fluent feeling they have when you use them. The best way I can describe the quality, is that they have this smooth "roll off the page" feeling when you use them. They don't get stuck or hesitate on the page. I guess that depends on the texture of the paper and technique you're using but for those of you that are beginners and just want to test out some cool brush pens, THESE ARE THE ONES TO GET! The dual brush tips make it easier to outline with ease. Awesome brushes for a decent price! I would definitely recommend to those that are just starting out with drawing/sketching/outlining. I'm sure they aren't comparable to the more popular pro brushes, but for the price and quality, I'd definitely say they're worth it! I love them! Only downfall? They aren't refillable or have replaceable parts like other brush pens. Again, for the price though, it's still worth it for those that aren't planning on needing refills a lot.
