We love tinker toys
My very hands on 5 year old loves these. He loves to look at the displayed designs and try and replicate them himself or make his own. He can sit and play with this for a long time. Love the bright color and he very rarely has a hard time putting one together or taking one apart. They’re plastic but still seem durable. Would make a great gift!

Not what was expected....
Despite the "vintage" container, and "classic" in the description, these are NOT the tinker toys of old. They are a plastic, rather than wood. That aside, they are pretty cool. They work the same and aren't cheaply made. I'd expect them to last a long time given the amount of play time they have seen already. They have taken a beating from my 3 year old and are in great shape. Don't be fooled by the size of the tin. It's only about half full. Take that for what it is. Extra storage for more toys or a let down when you get them and realize your selection of pieces is limited.

Great Building Toys
We LOVE Tinker Toys. These are made from a sturdy, flexible plastic. They are super easy for young children and older children to create different figures. I have them at school for my students to use during free play and frequently give them as gifts. Everyone always raves about them. It comes with a pamphlet of different building idea to help kids gets started, if needed

Retro large tin storage, 100 PLASTIC pcs
PLASTIC pieces, not wooden. About 1/3 of the pieces are very small. The tin is too large for the number and size of pieces. I’m disappointed because wooden was mentioned in the description ……. “Nostalgic Wooden Construction Toy” My grandson and I have enjoyed making most of the models that are advertised. The plastic pieces are very sturdy, colorful and easy for him to handle. It would be nice if more pieces were included for the price.

Can’t go wrong with Tinkertoys
A good friends son turned two. I was invited to the 2 yo birthday party. So I brought this along. The lil boy was fascinated and played w them for hours that night; a year ago. From time to time I hear he continues to keep on playing w them. Tinkertoys. The gift that keeps on giving…in a good way.

My son loves tinker toys and they're so hard to find and so when I found this one in a big container I jumped on it really fast. I absolutely loves them. They're strong little pieces and perfect for children, especially with autism as it gives him something to focus on and he really loves them

They are ok
Not quite as amusing for my son as the older 1980s set but still does the trick. The only complaint i have is sometimes the plastic sticks get stuck in the other connector pieces and trying to get them out makes them lose shape and not connect well the next time you use them. I feel like this is a safer option than the older ones though and that was the main reason for purchasing
