The most comfortable pool float I have owned in 19 years!!
UPDATED REVIEW, 06/09/13: I have gotten over 2 years use out of this float. It has it's "issues" - has faded pretty badly, loses a bit of air in the chambers requiring you put a bit more in the air chambers weekly, and it is a BEAST to blow up yearly (it has 8 air chambers). Besides all this, I continue to find it the most comfortable pool float I have ever had, and with 2 years use, durable as well. The float is heavy enough that it has never been blown out of our pool during a thunderstorm, so this adds considerably to the durability factor. I prefer to float in a mostly upright position so I can read, look around, etc., so this float is ideal for me. I purchased this pool lounge chair/float about 2 months ago. It has been used many times in the past 2 months. I do not like to write reviews until I have given the product a "good run". So, with this pool float, so far/so good! This pool float is, by far, the most comfortable pool float I have ever owned in my 19 years as a pool owner. Let me give you the good and the few "bad" points. Good: 1). Super comfortable 2). The "fabric" is actually a pretty durable, high density polyester but it does have a fabric like feel and is non-sticky and comfortable. 3). It has been used at least 50 times in the past 2+ months and is holding it's own as far as durability in a chlorine based pool environment. 4). It does need a few puffs of air in some of the air baffles/pockets every week or so, but no big deal ............. no major leaks of any kind. ALL pool floats need the occasional bit of air added to compensate for air loss from the expansion/contraction from the sun and then cooler nights. The "bad" points: 1). There are multiple (8) air baffles that need inflated. Someone had mentioned how difficult it was to inflate some of the air baffles/pockets and then re-insert them into the proper compartments...............!? I don't know what would possess someone to remove the baffles to fill them!? I did remove the air baffles/bladders to stretch them out a bit and decompress them. I then re-inserted them back into their respective areas before I inflated them................no problems. 2). The "cup holder" is a joke...........really! It does not align well with the hole in the air bladder beneath, but if it is important to you and you do persist, you can get it to hold a standard beer/soda can or bottle. 3). As a previous reviewer mentioned you really do NOT rest back into a reclined position as the portrait suggest; the "model" on the box must be pushing back. This chair holds you in a fairly upright position. To allow my head to rest back a bit, I found that if I only put a bit of air into the very top (small) air bladder on the headrest you can rest your head back a bit. However, anyone who purchases this who has a cervical spine issue or who wants to recline backwards will be disappointed. Overall, I am very pleased with this pool float and if I get 2 or 3 seasons out of it I will be happy. It is hands down the most comfortable pool float I have ever owned (but I like sitting upright on a pool chair) and it can handle a person 200#+ if necessary and still remain buoyant.

Used to love this float, but the quality has seriously declined, and the price has gone up
I was looking for a larger sized float for sunbathing in my pool and this had pretty good reviews. It's a good size and I like the outer covering. The only thing I'm not happy with is that the actual float part doesn't hold air especially well and it's really difficult to inflate. Meaning when it gets low on air (every 24 hours or so), you have to open the case, deflate the pillow, pull the float out a little, inflate it, squeeze it back into the case, then inflate the pillow again. This should be a better quality float for this price. Regarding the case filling up with water and people saying it was too heavy to lift out of the pool. If you tilt it up, the water just drains out of the zippered end. UPDATE: 9/21/2017 Even though I have had to reinflate it quite a bit, I've decided that it's still my favorite float. It's been left outside in Florida every day for over a year and it's just finally getting too worn to use. I'm buying a second one. Update April 16, 2025 The quality in these has drastically been reduced. My first one lasted me several years (although I had to reinflate it quite a bit). Subsequent ones lasted maybe six months. The most recent one literally last lasted two months. The reason I gave two stars when I wanted to give zero is because it’s still my favorite float. I love the outside covering and the size of it. However, for what I paid, it should last a lot longer. It’s a shame how much the quality has gone down. It’s just not worth it to replace it every couple of months. UPDATE 8/2025- OK, so this is no longer my favorite pool float. The quality has gotten terrible. I believe this is the sixth one that I’ve purchased. They used to deflate a little, but I just dealt with it. I purchased one in April or May and it had a leak from the gecko. I realized it and had it replaced right away. The replacement came in while I was traveling. I just got back and took the brand new one out of the box. Not only was it assembled incorrectly (the inflatable part was reversed inside the cover, so I couldn’t access the plug, so I had to undo all the little clips that hold it to the cover and flip it over, similar to a duvet cover), but… Once I inflated it, there was already a leak. I don’t know what happened to the quality of these, but I won’t be purchasing them anymore.

great float!
Hands down the most comfortable floatie I've ever owned and the most stable to get on or off of without dumping yourself into the water. I went through 3 Wal-Mart cheapos the first week of swim season when I decided enough is enough! Ordered this one and now everyone wants to use it. The hubs is 6'4", 270 lbs and he's perfectly comfortable on it as well. The only drawback is that it won't stay fully aired but that is actually okay because it makes it more comfy. I will say I had a hard time using the electric pump to blow it up because for some reason there's a weird combo of holding the inflator valve and the air pump hose just right. Don't get me started on trying to blow it up with your lungs. It is indeed an "air mattress" and a pump is necessary unless you want to pass out in the 30-45 minutes it takes to do it the old fashioned way. However, all that aside, it is a great float. It doesn't get hot to the touch and works like a charm to lay on your stomach as well as your back because the pillow is just right to lay across, arms out & face down without it touching the water but yet still able to relax and breathe well. **update 8/18/15 - Our daughter's dog LOVES this float. He always wants to get on it with me when I'm in the pool. His nails don't puncture it (it's held up well to him walking/standing on it) and as you can see, he thinks he's a surfer. The only thing it has not held up to is being a chew toy for him. I came out the other day and evidently he caught it when it was on the tanning shelf of the pool and decided to drag it out to sleep on it. It had several bite marks that punctured it, so in the trash it went. Guess I'm in the market to buy a new one! This time I'll keep it put up away from him when I'm not outside. ;)

Garbage! Went flat the very first time used.
This chair is garbage! A Christmas gift for my wife & the very first time I inflated it the arms & back rest went flat within a couple of hours. I wouldn't go near this product & I'll be contacting the supplier for a full refund.

The Best For River Floating EVER !!!
Love these heavy Canvas products. This brand is awesome, no more punctures on the river because you bumped a tree branch or scrapped over rocks. These things take a ton of abuse and just keep going. I’m 6’2” at 180 lbs and it worked fine for me, when a buddy 6’7” 240 lbs used it we just stuffed in a few pool noodle cut in half and away he went. I modded mine a bit by stitching on 2 loops to allow me to tow or be towed. This is my 5th purchase from this brand. Started with 1 tube which soon turned to two then 4 tubes. Now added the floating bed to mu collection. Now I feel like I’m running river tours as all my friends want to go with me and the unsinkable floaties. Go Buy one you won’t regret it !!

Good investment
Outer shell is very good quality. It is comfortable to lie on. I am glad I invested in a good float and not some cheap thing that won't last, like what I see lying around the beach that people have left as garbage. Cheap stuff is a waste of your money and just becomes landfill. It's very stable because it's so thick. Nice to lie on in the backyard as well. Probably work as a guest bed in a pinch.
