The Perfect Sudoku Book!
I have now gone through the entire Sudoku series by Xaq Pitkow and Chronicle Books. Other Sudoku puzzles come up way short in comparison! The spiral binding with hard cardboard covers makes for excellent usability, especially for left-handers. The 3.75"x6" size fits in the palm of the hand, the back pocket, the shirt pocket, and is ideal for working a puzzle. Yet it's large enough even for interior notes (although you must keep them small). The semi-slick paper handles numerous erasures--I've made LOTS of errors!) and the print never fades or smudges. Numerals in color contrasting to grid lines make it visually more appealing. And fainter grid lines outside the puzzle box make for a neater exterior note area. All in all, I find this to be a perfect book for solving Sudoku puzzles. And if they create a newer, more difficult version, I will buy it!

Definitely challenging!
definitely challenging. have bought many many books over time and this is the best one. I place in my handbag and the spiral binding makes it perfect for playing on a train or bus. Fits perfectly in my hand. The puzzles do get more difficult as you go along and the easy one is not a 5 minute easy...there is some bite in the puzzles. I bought 3 of them. if you are a beginner this is not for you.

Guess is Necessary
We're not quite sure about Sudoku, but sometimes we have to "guess" at a number before we can continue on to solve. Is that a true statement? We find many instances of "guessing" with this Sukoku book.

I needed something to challenge my bragging fiance and this did the job. Extremely challenging. I hear him talking to hisself to try and figure out some of these puzzles.

Great for Sudoku fans on the go!
Enjoyable. Perfect size for purse or pocket. Easy to read. I really like the top spiral. Great for right or left handed players!

I thought I was pretty good at Sudoku (too cocky) and never thought this book would stump me. These puzzles are very difficult...true to name. I started two and wasn'the able to finish either.....yet. thanks.

Fun for days
Very challenging puzzles. Love the spiral bound and small size. Not too heavy for doing while lying down.

Tiny tiny print
The print is extremely small - especially the numbers. The books are about 4"x6" with tiny writing. I wear reading glasses and have never had problems with other books like Shortz, etc. The positive is that the books are spiral over the top which makes it easy to do puzzles. Had to return.

Looks Good
My husband loved his Sudoku books [birthday pressie off our Labrador :-) ] - they are in flip style so very easy to keep open on the puzzle you are doing. He does Sudoku when we go on holiday so he hasn't attempted any of them yet so cannot comment on the quality of the level of difficulty, but so far, so good. Even I am tempted to have a go!!!

リングで開いたままにでき使いやすい、ハイレベルばかり(不要レベルが入っていない)ので合理的。
200問も希望のレベルの問題ばかりが載っているのがありがたい。 他の本では、初心レベルから上級それぞれが一冊におさまっているものが多いと感じていたので、必要なレベルだけを欲しかった私は満足。

Great Gift
It's great because it's perfect size and difficulty. My mom loves these books and she has bought multiples of the same ones because you never remember the answers.
