Interesting blocks for kids and adults
Saw these blocks in an activity area at Denver science museum, with kids and adults diving in. My two kids (9 & 4) were enjoying them for quite a while before I hauled them off to see more of the museum. The 4 yr old lost interest first when I had these at home, but the 9 yr old continues to be excited about them. Very good quality, nice gift for the building- oriented kids. I’m glad these came with a case to store them!

What a hit!
We purchased this item as a birthday gift for my 11 year old son. He has enjoyed Legos but seems to be "graduating" from them, wanting to move on to other ways of "creating." As a small child, his older sister and he loved to build with blocks. This set is like blocks for big kids. He has tried all the structures listed in the accompanying booklet and has moved on to creating his own ideas. The buildings are amazing and are relatively durable (until my son decides to move on to a new idea!) My husband recently commented that this is one of the best gifts we have given my son in years. For something so simple in concept, this has already provided him hours of enjoyment. I would certainly recommend this for any child that likes to build and create. The 400 plank set provides enough materials to construct some pretty extensive structures. It stores away easily in the included canvas bag (a definite plus for a mom who hates clutter).

These Blocks are a Must for Creative Children
Love, love, love these blocks. My 9 year old son enjoys building with these structures so much that he asked for a second 400 piece set, and although they are a tad pricey, the amount of creativity that goes into the buildings, airports, roads, bridges, etc. that my son creates is worth every penny. So, I didn't hesitate to get the second set, and I know that he will get many hours of enjoyment out of building even bigger cities and other creations. My son loves Lego and several creative video games including Minecraft and Sim City. So, I can easily recommend these blocks to anyone who has a child that really likes building things. I plan on keeping these for future grandchildren once my son outgrows them. A fabulous product that is timeless!

Great Product!
We visited a science museum that had these planks. My seven year old granddaughter was fascinated designing a building. I bought the 400 plank construction set to have on hand when she visits. The booklet shows photos but no directions other than showing different ways the planks can be used for size and strongest support. I suppose that could be part of the fun and challenge in trying to figure out how to build the structures and encourage "engineer thinking". All the pieces are smooth and a good pine quality. They should last to be used by younger siblings. I expect this to be a winner and favorite.
