Nice looking but fragile
This is a great toy and I spent quite a long time with my daughter putting all the pieces together. The downside is that the glue is not strong enough and some parts do not hold together. I will have to compensate this with a double-side 3M tape. This drawback makes this toy more of a "look and not touch", rather than something you can actually spend time playing with.

Needs glue
I've never worked with small adhesive foam before. If you have, then you know what to expect. The foam doesn't stick too well in the end, so you may want to dab a little glue. But it is sticky enough to not want to cooperate and line up correctly. Individually, the cubes are slightly more difficult to work with and don't give as polished of a look as an area where two or more were kept together. It ends up looking a little uneven. Our finished product doesn't look as clean as on the box for this reason. Then again, I would think polished looks would be rare when working with foam. In the end, it didn't really matter as my padawan was pleased with the result. Biggest downside is the instructions. At times they are difficult to see (how many dark brown cubes you need and in what pattern) and they were not in order!! First 6 steps we're in the beginning, next few in the back, then final steps in the beginning. I'm guessing I had a fluke. It IS still a fun project for young padawans and their Jedi master

I bought these as stocking stuffers thinking they would be so fun for my husband and daughter to do together. The directions are not very clear. you cant tell the difference in colors on the instructions or how many of each block you will need for each step. I was pretty disappointed in this product as a whole. More frustration just trying to figure out the directions than any fun that was had.
