Vibrant Christmas Puzzle. Moderately Challenging, Infinitely Beautiful!
This Christmas puzzle from Springbok is absolutely gorgeous and festive. The pieces are a good size and of excellent quality. There is a fair bit of puzzle dust though so I'd put the pieces through a colander a few times before starting to assemble it. I used to be hesitant about Springbok's random cut style, but now I look forward to it. The finished puzzle is larger than most standard 1,000-piece puzzles. I purchased a few puzzles from Springbok's 2025 Christmas collection and each puzzle has been absolutely beautiful and brilliant. They really are a premium puzzle company. The image is beautiful and vibrant, reminding me of a small town Christmas market with a beautiful tree in the center. You can tell that image was created with care and not a random AI image. Every detail is crisp. I would rate this puzzle as a moderate difficulty that could be completed with about 8 hours of work. We really enjoyed this puzzle, along with their other Christmas puzzles this season and I highly recommend that everyone pick one up for Christmas!

Puzzling Christmas Cheer
This puzzle was a beautiful Christmas scene of a Christmas tree in a quaint village square. It is well produced. None of the paper was torn away from the cardboard upon initially opening it, and none came apart while it was being worked. The pieces were separated in the packaging fully and did not have to be broken apart. While working it, the pieces snapped together just fine, and all were there. They were thick, and none of them bent. There was no damage to any of the pieces from being rearranged or incorrectly placed. The colors were vibrant, and the edges were crisp. I bought two other puzzles in this collection that I would easily give the same review for. I am attaching pictures of those to this review. They are Snowman Snow Globe and Quilting Santa. This is a great time of year for purchasing these to get in the mood and celebrate the holiday season.

Quality so-so
I have been getting a ton of puzzles lately because my daughter and I love doing them together. This one was definitely not as good as the others I’ve been getting. It doesn’t come with a large photo blow up of the picture (which every other puzzle I’ve bought has) nor does it come with a little nylon bag to keep the pieces together (which also came with every other puzzle). What was even worse was how many pieces are still attached to each other or have damaged ends or scraps of cardboard sticking out. The pieces are very poorly cut. They also feel thinner than most of the other puzzles I’ve received. I think I’ve gotten 6 or 8 puzzles in the last month or so and this is the first puzzle that’s had any of these issues. Disappointed in the quality and would say there are better quality puzzles available on Amazon.

If you like jigsaw puzzles and you like the picture, go for it. It'll be challenging, but not hard.
Reviewing "Merry Town Square" jigsaw puzzle by Springbok This is actually one of 2 puzzles that I ordered at the same time. The other puzzle contained a lot of variation of mostly just 2 colors, with other colors of course, but only in small amounts. This puzzle picture is quite the opposite, with lots of color throughout the whole picture. The puzzle pieces come in a sealed plastic bag, which I have not opened, but looking into the bag I do see sections of the puzzle where the pieces did not separate after cutting. I really do not like opening a brand new puzzle only to find pieces already attached, so I always separate them. I did try separating these through the plastic bag but discovered that most were still attached by small bits of paper that were not completely cut through. That's when I stopped trying because I don't want to damage the top picture paper in the process. After the I open the bag and start sorting the pieces, I'll either fix it then or leave them connected. Anyway, you get your standard 6 shapes of puzzle pieces (ranging from having 4 knobs to 0 knobs) and that leads me to believe that it's probably ribbon cut (the pieces join up in semi-neat rows vertically and horizontally). I prefer puzzles that have more whimsical pieces and are randomly cut, but those tend to be harder to find. And, as long as I like the picture, I'm always going to enjoy putting it together. The puzzle is also not printed with letters on the back as an aid to assembling it, nor is there a paper photo of the finished puzzle. The only photo is on the box cover. The box is actually larger than it needs to be in order to accommodate a larger picture of the puzzle (I assume). All in all, it's a 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle with a lovely Christmas themed picture - what's not to love. It'll provide plenty of quiet hours of leisure time.

Poor quality puzzle. So disappointed in Springbok!!
I’ve read other reviews about the poor quality of Springbok but I didn’t believe it until I bought this. The box was crushed but I figured the puzzle would be ok. But it’s such poor quality! The cuts of the pieces aren’t done right. My picture is blurry but you get the idea. Not sure what happened to Springbok but I expected much better from them!!

Charming and Festive Puzzle
I really like the Springbok Merry Town Square puzzle. The 1000 pieces fit together smoothly, and the quality feels sturdy and well made. The artwork is detailed and colorful, with a cozy holiday town square scene that’s both cheerful and inviting. It’s a fun challenge without being frustrating, and the finished picture is so pretty it could easily be displayed during the holidays. A festive and enjoyable puzzle for the season.
