GREAT SABER for the PRICE!!
This not a Master Replica's style saber, so don't get it twisted, If you want a MR you will pay much more than the amount you'll pay for the FX but Personally I think Force FX does the best when it comes to Lightsabers. The light imitates powering on and off of the saber by going up and down when turning on and off. The sound affects are realistic when its on and has the hitting sound whenever you bump on something and a Hum when the blade is idled. Also, the Saber will automatically turn itself off when its Idled to long, I guess that's a power saving thing. I actually have the Anakan, Luke Skywalker, and both sides of the Darth Maul Saber. Another good feature is you can take the saber off and wear the hilt around your sash if your cosplaying as a Jedi. The ones I've seen at the conventions are nice, but if you want to have the realistic sounds and the way the saber turns on and off then this is the route to go. I don't recommend this for dueling, cause you will damage the LED lights. I swing it around, tap it on a few things just to hear the clashing sound, but that's the extent of it. I would say the weight of the Saber is about 2-3 pounds, and its about 33 inches long, the Hilt is about 11 inches. The Batteries go into the hilt and the sound board comes from the Hilt location as well. It also comes with a stand to mount it on. Not bad when it comes to the authenticity of the design but as I mentioned earlier this is not a MR, and you aren't paying MR prices. I definitely recommend this for any Star Wars fan, By God who doesn't want there own Lightsaber at home to swing around. May the Force Be with you!!

Wouldn't recommend for a first or any type of "toy"
Removable blades seem more sturdy. Had to get 3 of this one and ended up sending it back. The hilt is very well built but the blade seems to be top heavy resulting into a cracked blade when swung. It's real bright but the LEDs inside may or may not go out. My LEDs went out as soon as I got my second one in after breaking the first one on one simple swing.overall it's not a good first fx lightsaber. I ended up going with the kit fisto removable blade one and I love it 100 times more.

Least favorite in my collection
Of all the Force FX lightsabers, this is my least favorite and the last one I would add to a collection. It feels cheaper than the others, and doesn't look as nice. While the others resemble movie prop quality replicas, this one just seems more like a toy. The good news is that this one did not have any issues when it arrived at my house, unlike the Darth Vader and Mace lightsabers, which arrived non-functioning.

Solid Lightsaber & What to Expect
I returned a few Anakin 2010 Hasbro lightsabers due to a series of prominent dark spots on the blade. I then tried the Hasbro 2007 Luke RTOJ (green) saber. The Luke RTOJ hilt is very good; it doesn't have the heavy-duty polished metal of the Anakin hilt, but the metal finish was still quite good. Some complain about removing stickers from the hilt, but this didn't take long on the Luke RTOJ saber, as the sticker residue is easily accessible and simple enough to remove. Sounds are much quieter than the Anakin saber, which is actually okay. The Anakin saber was quite loud in comparison, like wake-your-sleeping-kids loud, which can be a deal-breaker! The Luke RTOJ ignite and off sounds are a perfect match to the movie. Motion sounds are a bit off-sync (which was also the case with the Anakin 2010) and muffled compared to the Anakin 2010 (which was much more clear and distinct). The Luke RTOJ has only one, very small dark spot in the middle of the blade (which may be due to soldering the LED strands together from what I gathered in other forums). The Luke RTOJ LEDs are bright; however, there are rather distinct LED rings in the blade, which was a bit disappointing. I was hoping for in-time motion sounds and a perfectly clear and consistently lit LED blade for a $100+ collectible. That being said, I'm quite happy with the Luke RTOJ saber. It's a great collectible, something all Star Wars fans will enjoy. If you're a perfectionist, you may need to calibrate your expectations for sound and LEDs.

Great!
Awesome lightsaber! I've always liked the design of the lightsaber hilt. When ignited, the sound and green color of the blade is outstanding. My only complaint is that it doesn't have the heaviness of the Anakin blue lightsaber. I own it and it feels like a real lightsaber. Both are highly recommended if you're a Star Wars fan!
