Recommended system, easy to use and sound level pretty high.
First glance and bench test with 4S power supply offered a spectrum of noisy engines ;-) So far, not expensive and functional according to instructions.

Capacitor failure; legacy software to configure.
Connected to 6S power supply and immediate puff and blue smoke. Capacitor on board blown. Sourced new capacitor with higher rating. Blew it too. Resoldered another and put a buck converter to drop voltage to 4S. Lasted longer and then capacitor blew again. Will persevere with lower voltage still, and polarity checks (…..I copied the original capacitor polarity installation…..and also note the board has a port for another capacitor which hasn’t been installed….). EDIT: after checking polarity it appears the original capacitor was installed with wrong polarity- capacitor no. 4 in place and working at 6S…. 2017 era Software is needed to get the thing to switch off when turned on (your prop isn’t turning and it’s still idling). We have a legacy laptop (2010 vintage) otherwise would be stuffed. It is noisy when turned on but not loud; haven’t tested in flight yet. Caveat emptor.
