Great dishes set for boys and girls
I was looking for a dishes/tea set for my 2.5 year old son that wasn't girly. This one is great. The cups and plates are very durable. Some of the utensils are a little loose where the handle connects to the top part. It doesn't seem like they will detach, but it is a possibility. I like that each place setting is a different color. It helps my son to distribute the pieces and helps us to make sure we have all of the pieces when we put them away. My son is even starting to learn how to set the table. I would recommend this set for any child.

Very nice & sturdy, perfect size. Highly recommend
I bought this set for my granddaughters, ages 3 & 6. I was pleasantly surprised at how sturdy these dishes are. I also discovered that my 6 year old has the very same set in her campus club schoolroom, which in itself attests to the hardiness of it. The pieces are a very good size, the teapot measures approx 4 1/2" high x 6 1/4" from apout tip to outside edge of handle. Cups are 2" tall x 2 1/2 wide not including handle, plates 5" in diameter, saucers 3 7/8". All pieces, including the utensils are high-quality and functional for real food & drink. I also think the price is very reasonable for this sturdy set, and last but not least, my granddaughters love it. I will be looking for this brand again when planning another purchase for my grandchildren.

Darling play set of dishes for our granddaughter!
We wanted a little set of dishes to go with the little kitchen we gifted our granddaughter and these are perfect! I like that they are primary colors and easy to teach and identify for a 22 month old.

Dish set
I like this set for the most part. The colors are vibrant and seem to be well made for they are sturdy. My son likes them, however it is to be noted that the silverware are super tiny. They should have been bigger proportioned to the plates. His food fits perfectly on the plates, wish he had silverware that were perfect. All in all, this set is perfect for the plates and teacups!

Durable. Gets the job done.
You'll be hard pressed to find a play tea set that isn't emblazoned with princesses or flowers of some kind. My son isn't so much a fan of those things, but he loves to have tea parties. This little set is perfect. It's plastic, so I don't have to worry about anything chipping or breaking. The plastic isn't flimsy and cheap. The colors are as bright as the picture indicates. If we ever misplace any pieces, I will definitely order this again.

Vibrant colors, non-toxic materials
I work with children and this dish set is great for both boys and girls. The colors are bright and the plastic is durable. No sharp edges on any of the dishes or utensils. Even a 1 year old took to this set immediately. She was drawn to the colors and the pieces were easy to grasp. The teapot lid does come off, so the teapot can be filled with water. This is a great addition to kitchen play sets and for pretend tea parties. I use this product with toddlers to kindergarten aged children. I contacted the company Educational Insights to inquire about toxic ingredients since it was not labeled on the box I received. This is the response I received from the company on 4/25/16: "Thank you for contacting Learning Resources. We are firm believers in safety first. All of our toys pass rigorous independent safety tests before we release them into the market. All of our products are non-toxic, phthalate-compliant, lead-compliant, BPA compliant, proposition 65 compliant, no mercury and comply with U. S. safety laws."

Excellent, silverware could use work
My only complaint is that the silverware appears to be 2 pieces stuck together with a plastic knob thing stuck in a hole to keep it together. With the excellent quality of the other items, I thought they'd be solid. It's also missing bowls... but my 19 month old girl doesn't seem to care. I gave her a few baby bowls and she's satisfied. Colors are bright. I don't regret buying them. I think she's been trying to feed our puppy, as a few of the spoons have been chewed up. I've just replaced them with some leftover take-n-toss silverware. It's better quality and cheap, so if we lose a few it's not a big deal.

Ask for a box
Love the product. I think it should last for years. Very thick plastic All dishes and tea pot arrived perfect However ! I will request a box around for shipping next time as the packing label is directly on the package, no wrapping of sorts. The box is gross for presentation as a gift. Will have to be creative

Perfect gift
Purchased as a birthday gift for my 2 year old, she loves it - and so do the other kids - Came exactly as shown. Seems more durable than their old play dishes.
