Wonderful, Portable Distraction for Toddler
Who knew that six pieces of wood could be so entertaining...? Bought this for a plane trip to entertain my one year old. The magnets prevented him from dropping/throwing them as often as he did the non-magnetic objects. (Tip: giving him two of these was just as entertaining as giving him all six.) Definitely going to purchase more as he grows older. We now carry them in the diaper bag/purse at all times - perfectly sized. Note unrelated to product- we definitely received a used product (had a piece of tape and some pencil scribbles on a couple of the pieces). We kept it because plane trip was next day, but a little disappointing. Not at all a reflection of the product itself, though.

Worth the money
Wonderful travel toy! No batteries and they are inky limited by their imagination! Kids will play with these blocks for hours and are not quickly bored. Highly recommend. These will make a good stocking stuffer or Easter basket gift.

Nice quality toy
It’s pricey but also good quality. I would rather have less toys around but of better quality and durability. It’s also a toy that engages in open ended play and while it’s a small set. You can continue to add sets and that is also worthwhile when choosing a toy for the long haul

Really a fabulous toy - your kid's friends will be envious!
We have this set of Tegu blocks as well as a bigger set - the kid loves both. This one is just right to take with us on normal outings for when we have a more lengthy lull than usual and the kiddo needs something to occupy his mind and his hands. I think I may be obligated to buy several more sets of these in the coming months as birthday gifts, as all the kid's friends have fallen in love with the "magnet blocks" too. The colors are great, the magnets work well, haven't had any problems with paint chipping or anything . . . Had these almost a year and they still look (and function) like new. Makes for one happy parent!

Small, pricey, and intriguing.
You'll pay a lot for what you get in this set: six angled blocks (four triangles, two parallelograms) with embedded magnets, all packed in a small grey pouch made of thick industrial grade felt. It's a neat package that readily fits into a medium sized purse. Be forewarned that while this is a toy that will probably intrigue your young child, it's one that benefits from the involvement of an adult--especially one who nonverbally explores what the blocks can do. They're pretty versatile. Click, clack. They can come together--but they can also, depending on the orientation of the embedded magnets, 'ignore' or even repel one another. Do 'magic' by making a block move without touching it. Put one on the tray table of an airplane and move it by holding another block beneath. Make four triangles into a square. Build a house. Etc. They are a great fiddle toy, even for adults. So, they're a handy take along. Most children will allow themselves to be distracted with these during a period of enforced waiting in a confined space. A real plus is that the sturdy pouch makes it easy to ensure that all the (expensive) pieces come home. These are priced high so as to allow support of educational programs in Honduras, where they are manufactured. Also, Tegu requires resellers to adhere to a pricing agreement, but there are price reductions periodically, both on Amazon and on the Tegu site. Go there to sign up for their occasional emails, which include special offers--sometimes as much as 35 to 40% off--and the introduction of new products not available elsewhere.

Has saved us so many times!
Bought two - one for a car and one for his baby bag. I read about this product on a baby blog, and I've loved it for many months now. Thanks to this toy, we've made it through long 1+ hrs waits at the dr., the airport, and even at a funeral (though they're kinda loud, so I don't recommend this be your intended use for them), etc. with our now 20 month old. We've had them about 7 months now, and he loves it. I've read that older kids love it too, because they can start building specific shapes instead of just clicking the magnetic blocks together. I could be a sales rep for this company with how many people I've helped purchase this in the past 6 months! We've let other kids play with them, and it's helped pass the time while waiting. One major suggestion is to make sure you have 6 pieces every time you finish playing with them (like the dr's ready to see you now), so you're scrambling to make sure you have your 6 pieces, and actually put them back together in order right then and there. Otherwise you'll be searching your bag to make sure you had 6 pieces later. So far we haven't lost one, but hubs doesn't always put it back together, and it's a real pain to go searching for tiny pieces, so I put it back together each time and in the bag before we leave. Doesn't take long, but it'll briefly work your brain too! :)

Best Blocks
Tegu blocks are expensive but worth every penny. I initially considered them but made a mistake of not purchasing them because they seemed too pricey. But we were lucky to get a basic set as a gift for my son's 2nd b-day. After realizing that they are worth their price, I purchased colored pocket sets and wheels to add to his basic set. At first, they were challenging, but now that he got the hang of it they are his favorite blocks. Days would go by without him playing with his legos or other blocks, but he plays his Tegu blocks every day. Even though he has a train set, he prefers making his own tracks and trains from Tegu blocks. We make cars, buildings, bridges, tunnels, birds, doggies, etc. These blocks truly provide endless possibilities and open a whole new world of imagination. This is definitely my son's and my favorite toy.

Great, purse-friendly toy for road trips and restaurants!
This is such a great toy to take along to restaurants or other places where kids need to stay quiet! It’s great for kids age 1 all the way up to 6+! For older kids, print off the guide for 49 different shapes (attached) to challenge them to recreate them all. I cannot emphasize enough how much we love this toy. It is our go-to birthday party gift!

Bello e pratico
