Perfect for long flight... with a little prep work
I bought these sticker pads for our 5hrs+ plane trip with a toddler and a 4 year old, and it turned out to be an excellent decision. These pads have such variety of stickers with a whole book devoted to vehicles of all sorts, both of our boys loved them. The price that Melissa and Doug offer for these stickers is really comfortable. I did a lot of searches before purchasing these pads, looking for restickable stickers (gel stickers, silicone stickers etc) at a reasonable price. The variety and the quality of these stickers really can't be beat. And the fact that they are themed and come with pads tho stick the stickers on... well it's a bonus. I am very much glad I stumbled into these; otherwise I would have had to resort to buying a bunch of mismatched set of stickers for a higher price. The biggest negative reviews I saw when purchasing this product agreed on two negatives: (1) the pads are fairly big for an airplane seat and (2) the stickers are in a separate location from where the "scene" pads are. Since I was intending to use these pads on a long flight, I was slightly apprehensive of the purchase at first. Once I received it, I understood what all the negative reviews were about. The pads ARE big: one page exceeds the size of an airplane tray table. The pads are in two sections: the first 5 pages are devoted to stickers and the last 5 pages are the scenes on which you stick the stickers (in the same order as the sticker pages-- if you get them mixed up and can't figure out which goes with which---like in the dinosaur set--- the back cover has a handy reference that match the pages up). Basically, the kids would have to flip back and forth between pages to get this to work. And in a tight space like an airplane seat... it wouldn't do. So instead of keeping them this way, I pulled apart the scene pages (the pages come off very easily). And for each scene, I pulled out the matching sticker page and: - I pulled off the whitespace stickers (the sticker bit that has no image... so basically the sticker borders) - removed all the stickers that were in the middle of page to another surface - cut the sticker page in half (in length) - attached the two halves of the sticker page on either short ends of the scene page with tape (used packing tape for the front since the stickers stick to that without a problem and used masking tape for the back-- if we used more packing tape on the back, it would have been hard to bend). The sticker "wings" would then be foldable over the scene page - put the unstuck stickers back on the empty spaces of the sticker page wings; for many of the pages (especially the dinosaur ones) you will have to leave one or two stickers out and/or move other stickers a bit to fit them in For the final product (as you can see on the photo), I had each individual scenes separate with their respective stickers positioned as openable pages/wings on either side of the scene. One note: if you do this and make a mistake with the packing tape, don't try to unstick it; work around it. The sticker page's lamination will pull off if you try to pull the tape off (oops). I won't lie. All this prep work was a bit tedious. But I'm glad I did it because in addition to making the stickers usable on board, our kids, once done with one scene, would eagerly wait for the next "surprise" scene. If I gave them the whole book, they would have played with bits of each page all at once. The process of "stickering" would have been so much shorter and less ... fun? Conclusion to this lengthy review: This was, hands down, an AWESOME purchase. It did take some prepwork to make it work for us, but it was all worth it. The stickers are of high quality, definitely restickable numerous times as expected (it even comes with directions as to how to clean them if they become dull/unstickable), colorful and varied. You just cannot go wrong with it. Top marks in my view.

Great for all my kids
This set of stickers was exactly what I needed. I have 3 kids (2.5, 5, 7) and needed them to have some busy activities for the grandma's to do with them while I recovered from a surgery. These were perfect! They are easy enough to use that my 2 year old can stick, unstick, and restick them herself, but interesting and varied enough that even my 7 year old enjoyed playing with them. The stickers aren't really sticky but use static to "stick" to the scene. If they stop working well, they come with instructions for how to wash them to make them stick again. I've seen stickers like this before and I think these are good quality. None of ours have torn, though we bent some. That hasn't affected the playability at all. The only difficulty that we've had with them is that one time someone let the kids just go to town with everything without supervision and when I got them back, they were all mixed up and stuck on top of each other and such. It took me a long time to put them back in order but that's hardly a problem with the product. Just a warning that you may want to keep them separate if you like things organized.

Good enough
I love that theyre reusable. I dont love the smell of the vinyl stickers and I don't love my impulse to lick them when they dont stick. I try to either spit on my fingers and rub it on the back or keep a cup of water handy when using the stickers. I don't like the idea of my son and I absorbing all the chemicals from the plastic stickers through our tongues. Most of the pages have fallen out of the binding. Not a big deal to us. To make the stickers easier to peel for little fingers, I removed all the framing from the sticker sheets. Not sure what else to call it... the part left over by the machine that cut the stickers. the excess of the sticker sheet. Peel that stuff off so little kids find it easy.

Entertaining for kids!
My toddler was entertained for hours. Loved it so much and it worked well. Great quality like the brand constantly produces. The size was perfect and the sticker variety was nice. They stuck well enough to even put on our wall. Cleans up quick.

These Reusable Sticker Books Are Winners!
I think these sticker books are great for learning and one of the most cost effective toys out there. I have seen kids spend hours with one of these books one day and then spend hours the next day moving the stickers around. How kids use these stickers depends on their stage of development and level of interest, but I have never met a kid who doesn't like these removable sticker books. Melissa and Doug make these books colorful, have interesting topics and make them high quality. I don't know how they can sell them at such low prices.
