The BEST little adventurer's net ever!
With two young boys, and a girl who keeps up with her big brothers just fine, we have been through a plethora of bug/creepy crawlie/reptile catching nets. We have tried pretty much every kind of fancy net on the market: telescoping nets, automatically closing nets, plastic and extra long nets, and we ALWAYS go back to this net. It is fabulous. If it wasn't a staple of my kids' daily activities, it would last forever, but alas, nothing lasts forever. For this reason, we buy 3 of this net at the beginning of every summer season, and they go everywhere with us. They have extra-tough nylon netting, durable wooden handles, don't do anything fancy like telescoping, are the perfect size for kids of all ages to maneuver, but are still roomy enough to catch even the biggest of the bullfrogs (trust me on that one). Since they come in a variety of colors, it is easy to know whose is whose (that's important when you are a 3-9 year old, you know!). If we didn't catch so many pinching and scratching and biting kinds of critters, or take the nets on floats down the river in the kayak, they would never wear out. But in spite of the fact that all things come to an end, this net comes to an end simply from being so fabulous that it gets overused and well abused, not because of cheap manufacturing like all the others. Buy this net, and your little adventurer will thank you for it. Just make sure you have enough empty Rubbermaid containers in your backyard to keep all the new "pets" in, and make sure you leave enough for me to buy my next round. I'll be needing another 3 nets around May of next year :)

Good size, Not too toy-like
My grandson kept busy for many days chasing little creatures around the farm. The net held up to rowdy play all last summer, and will be waiting for him again this year. My only negative comment is that I thought the description "3 Color Assortment" was a trifle misleading. Of course, if you read carefully you realize that you will receive only one net, but for a one-click shopper like myself it might be an unpleasant surprise when the package arrives! Update: description has been changed, no complaints!

Good net but bad marketing
Very misleading you only get one net and don't have the option to choose the color.

Mieleading discription
The net was well made, but the add is misleading. I expected 3 nets because of the wording in the ad. I am using the net for a fish pond game at a event, and now I only have one net.

I just got mine in the mail. My net is pink. I have a boy. I really wish we were able to pick the color. The handle seems strong but a little short.
