Every baby is different!
I think these are a great set of starter books. My baby wasn’t interested in them too much until she started to care about sounds and textures and putting things in her mouth, but now at almost 5 months she is very interested in them. The high contrast is clearly intriguing to her. However, the soft crinkly ones frustrate her pretty quickly because they don’t turn like her board books do, but she is always happy with the bath book. Regardless of her interest or frustration, they all provide experience for her. Everyone’s baby is different so your mileage may vary!

Cute and well made
The books are really cute and simple. Not overwhelming, but fun to play with. I do wish the illustrations were a bit more realistic.
