Work like an electric motor in reverse
I was curious how these would work, and I was not disappointed. They include a magnetic spacer to replace the stock plastic spacer. The hub of the wheel has windings that will rotate around the magnetic spacer which is the makings of a motor/generator. Without their included spacer, it will not light up. Spinning in hand, they will not light up. I suspect that covers most of the negative reviews. It’s a shame they didn’t include instructions to make them a little more fool proof. For install, you will need to pop out the stock bearings, which sounds easy but is difficult to get leverage without tweaking the bearing. The screwdriver I was using to remove the axels happened to be larger than the spacer while being smaller than the bearing ID. I was able to slide the wheel over the shank of the driver and pop out the opposite side bearing. Flip the wheel with the spacer still in place and I could easily pop out the other side. Pressing the bearings into the moonbeams was the most difficult part, but that was more of an issue of alignment/technique than strength/pressure. If they’re not going in, pop it out and re-align. They fit firm, but should be doable by hand. These wheels are softer than most light up wheels I’ve found, and the light is a clean white light: roughly 5000K color temperature. That was the ideal spec for my daughter’s skate nights with her school. Good traction in the rink while being noticeable. They are pricey, but significantly better quality than other options. For now, we decided to buy a single pack and only swap out the front and rear wheels. Sort of a headlights and taillights vibe. She seems to prefer that setup over all 8 glowing the same. Now I just need to resist decking out my own skates with a set in 80mm so she can enjoy her spotlights.

Great customer service
Ordered 8 wheels and 16 bearings for my daughter's Rollerblades. One of the magnetic wheel spacers was defective and the wheel was not spinning correctly. I emailed customer service and they answered me the next day. I asked them to send me four spacers so I now have extras if I ever need them. They sent them out right away and got them to me quick. They stand behind their product so contact them if you have any issues.

Good quality but package says made in china not usa.
I ordered this set and an off brand on amazon to compare. These came with everything you need if you reuse rollerblade wheel screws and bearings. They came with 4 wheels, 5 magnetic cores and 4 metal spacers that goes into the center of the bearings. The magnetic cores stay in the center of the wheels to create the leds to light up when spun. The metal spacers are needed, so there is not a gap and everything is sitting flush in the center of the 2 bearings and magnetic core. The off brand did not come with metal spacers, so they are useless without them and will be returned. These are now on my rollerblades and will be kept!

Trash.
These do not light up when you spin them, and are not a direct fit replacement. You would have to remove the bearings from your old wheels or have new bearings to press in I imagine, but they probably still won't light up. Just another waste of money and disappointing Christmas gift for my daughter. It's shameful that companies get rich selling trash just because people won't bother to return online orders or the 30 day period expires. Capitalism is the worst.

Works for One Fast Cat exercise wheel.
I bought these to replace the wheels on my cat’s exercise wheel. You just switch out the bearings from the old wheels and pop them into these. Now it’s smoother and quieter, and looks cool when it spins fast and the lights light up. The One Fast Cat wheel covers won’t fit back in but it looks more sleek and cool without the covers and it doesn’t effect functionality.

Awesome wheels, only thing was one wheel was a different shade of white, but not that noticeable. I love that everything came as a set including the axle 6mm adapter shafts for each wheel, these things are so hard to find.

Lights up your blade at night
The wheel does what is suppose to do. Although it lose speed due the mechanics of light up wheels, you can compensate by installing better bearings.

They don't glow
So sad that I went to the trouble of changing out all my wheels only to realize none of them light up. I've been having a rough week and bought these to cheer me up. Just another disappointment in my life. And it's not even worth returning them because it would be a huge hassle to take them all back off
