Perfect for a superhero in training
Purchased this costume for my 5-year-old nephew. It fit well--the muscles look great!--but arrived without the included cape. The company quickly offered to rectify the situation by offering a discount on the purchase price, or I could return it and order a new item. I opted to return it. Superman must have his cape! The second costume arrived with all parts, and Superman was thrilled!

Grandson loved it but muscle part uncomfortable
My grandson has gone through his obsessions from Titanic to Star Wars to Superman so was thrilled when he came over and opened the box. He is is 5 1/2 and about 50 pounds and maybe about 50" tall. He wears a Size 7. I bought a medium. The legs were just a little long but easy to scrunch up. The cape was a little long but I taped it up so he wouldn't trip. The small would have been too small and he can grow into this. The uncomfortable part was the muscles. I wish it was an insert we cold take out. He kept choking him - it's too hard and inflexible and he was very uncomfortable. He might grow into it but is still happy with the cape and books and belt. I'll try to retrofit it. I would suggest buying one without the muscle.

Great costume!
My son loved this costume for Halloween! The sizing was accurate and the fake muscles were great! This costume "super"! :)

SUPERMAN (nothing else is need to be said after that, warning on this your kid may actually think he is superman and try flying and jumping off couches and other objects!! loads of fun)

Runs a bit small and the muscles are "odd"
I bought this for our 10 year old who is pretty tall and slim for his age. (Size 12-14 costume) It is still a bit short in the legs. This is a common problem, so I won't judge too harshly there. One thing that is strange is the muscles on the upper body, though. They are not stuffed with cotton, but are actually stiff because there is a firm foam lining that part. They won't hold their proper shape because they came out of the package "smushed" and it held that same shape. My son isn't heartbroken over it, so it could be worse, but it does look really odd. One thing I did not like is that there were two layers of packing tape along the opening of the package that looked randomly placed, very much like someone had opened it then lazily resealed it with a couple lengths of tape. (The way it was folded on the packaging supported this. The garment wasn't faced out , but rather simply stuffed inside.) It was in no way factory-sealed. Overall, it looks like it will last for the day (unless he gets rough at recess) and that's really the point anyhow. This is absolutely a case of the price being right for a one-time-use product!

This is a good deal for this costume. It's going for much more money on other websites. My son is 7, wears size 7 tops and jeans. I ordered the medium sized costume and it fit perfectly!

One happy 7 year old!
My 7 year old LOVES to dress up. He was over the moon with his new costume. Apparently the colours wheee exactly right too! Quality is great as is the sizing.

Excellent mais attention taille
Excellente qualité, par contre attention à la taille, acheté pour mon fils de 6 ans qui mesure 120cm, j'ai pris 5 -7 ans alors qu'il met du 8-10 ans en haut et du 7 ans en bas. Et il était un peu grand au niveau des jambes, nous avons du modifier un peu mais ne regrette pas excellent

Klasse Superman
super tolles realistisches Superman Kostüm, passt prima, kann auf Grund der verschiedenen Größen mind. 2 Jahre oder mehr getragen werden, leider nicht waschbar, würde ich wider bestellen.
