Fits as they should for our son. We wanted him to be more careful skateboarding. They luckily haven't needed to protect him much but when they do I believe they will do well.

Good general purpose knee/elbow/wrist guard set
Overall, I really like this knee / elbow / wrist guard package. They're very well made with high quality materials - the outside is a solid hard plastic shell and the inside is a nice foam covered in a material that seems to be quite breathable / have some level of moisture wicking to it. The stitching and construction is also well done and they should prove to be fairly durable in normal use. While no joint protection guard is going to be truly breathable (at least not if it offers any kind of reasonable protection - you need a hard shell and that's just not going to breath - these offer some decent level of temperature control and comfort. An elastic/Velcro band setup doesn't necessarily help there in the comfort department, but it's not bad and sort of par for the course with this type of protective gear - you'd have to go up to the full on "sleeve" type of protection for more comfort there. The guards are light weight and easy to carry around with you - and that's clearly what they're designed for, to be light weight general purpose guards for those of use that skate/rollerblade/etc perhaps a few times a month or less. These are NOT heavy duty guards that are meant for people that are trying to be professional skaters/skateboarders/roller derby pros/etc. But for what they are, they're great - and they'll be great for what I want as I'm just getting back into skating to accompany my little ones as they learn. So if you are looking for high quality protective gear that does the job for random needs without breaking the bank (and without lugging around "pro" quality gear) these are a great option. Give them a try today!

Not for Roller Derby
The knee pads in this set are very small. At first, I thought I might have received two pairs of elbow guards by mistake, but the knee pads are slightly larger. They fit, so I believe they are indeed adult-sized. However, there is also very little padding, which might be fine for a roller rink, but I wouldn’t wear them outside, especially not for roller derby as advertised— there just isn’t enough coverage. In roller derby, knee pads are not just for the occasional slip; sliding on your knees is a fundamental part of the sport.

Sturdy and secure but uncomfortable wrist guards
I ordered this set primarily for the wrist guards. I am getting back into roller blading and wanted some protection especially for knees and wrists. At the time of order, there was no guidance on the listing to help me with what size to order but since it said for adults, I thought I would try for the medium and hope for the best. Overall the pieces fit me fine . But the wrist guards are very uncomfortable to the point of being unusable. The thumb opening has a firm edging that presses into the joint in such a way as to cause a funny bone like feeling. That was true no matter how I adjusted the strap around the thumb. I have worn wrist protection before that did not dig in like this, so I am disappointed.

Uncomfortable
The construction seems sound, but these aren't very comfortable. There doesn't seem to be padding between the plastic covering and the lining inside. It feels as if the material the lining is made of has been stretched tight over the concave space, and it's just air and tight stitching keeping your body parts from utter doom. Seems study enough for gardening (my chosen purpose), but not sure about roller derby.

Fits great for a medium lady!
These fit really nicely - I was nervous reading other reviews about sizing. I’m a reliable women’s small-medium, and ordered the medium. At first I thought they were small, but quickly realized how much the elastic stretches - it stretches a ton to be a very tight fit! I do not feel like these are a youth size, and I kept them on for an hour seated without much discomfort - a 2-strap elastic band will never be perfectly comfortable, but it wasn’t cutting off circulation, while still being tight enough to keep them from moving around if I were in an impact. That said, I could have probably done the large as well. Given the velcro, I wouldn’t recommend wearing them with clothing that will pull easily. I was very careful putting them over leggings. I do find they aren’t the most breathable, but of course they’re knee pads with padding held against the skin ????????♀️. These will be great for skating in the park!!!

Good fit
I requested these for my 10 year old, now that he's off sports for the winter break. They fit as expected. They're comfortable and he feels like he's properly protected.

Not bad
i have no used them yet but they fit well enough. I got a medium, i'm an adult female, a little thicker in my legs. I think the straps could be a little longer. I'm a seamstress so this isn't an issue for me i can fix it, but not everyone has or know how to use a sewing machine. ill update after i use them. Oh and the wrist feels like it could be a little smaller.
