A great value and kids love them.
Our airport aviation organization flys kids in real planes and wanted something to give them when they finished. These planes were perfect. Understand you need to be careful in assembly as the foam is thin. If you support the foam on the back side while inserting the wings and tail you can assemble without bending the foam. The propeller is sometimes a little tricky to get the small pin in the propeller mount but they all went together. Support the nose of the airplane near the propeller mount before pushing it on to avoid bending the fuselage. The planes actually flew pretty well. We had about kids throwing them all over the lobby while we waited for the rain to stop so we could fly them. I bought a second set for the next flying event. Highly recommended.

Decorations, party favors, rewards, and other uses.....
I purchased these for my 6 year old to have as a small reward and as something that we could do/learn about together. We opened our first one, which was the Curtiss P-40 Tomahawk, and brought up some online videos of the real plane and it's connection with "The Flying Tigers". So, they can be fun and a little educational too. The box that I received contained 48 planes: Curtiss P-40 Tomahawk Focke Wulf 190 A-4 Mitsubishi Zero Type 4 Fighter Hayate Grumman F6F Hellcat Hawker Hurricane MK. 11C North American Mustang MK2 Thunderbolt F-47D Airacobra P-39 Eockewulf TA 152H Piper Tri-Pacer Spitfire MKI The planes came evenly distributed with 4 of each kind. Each plane is individually wrapped and they look just like the ones that I use to get from the grocery store as a kid. The only difference that I can see is that these planes have a shiny glazed styrofoam covering and mine, as kid, were just white with inked markings. The planes are easy to assemble and while the markings and look of the models are not exactly authentic, there is enough there that helps to distinguish each one. The planes stay together well and do not blow apart in the air. The wing and tail wing stayed in place, but might need to be straightened up from time to time upon collisions with objects and the ground. Each plane comes with a plastic nose piece where you can insert the prop. The prop really does spin and will do so when flying. It doesn't really seem to help with any extended flight time however, but the nose piece is necessary for the model to achieve flight. I tried flying it without the nose piece and it just become erratic and crashes quickly. As far as actually flying, I tested it indoors and outdoors with various results. Outside, the plane wanted to go straight up in the air, perform a loop and level off for a glided landing. Inside, the plane tended to flying straighter. I also started to make small adjustments to the nose piece and this altered how it flew. Throwing the plane from over your shoulder and swinging out from the side of your body produced various results as well. As I was messing around with these, I was thinking that it might be a creative and fun exercise to give them to older teenagers in the classroom to see how they could alter the planes to achieve the longest flight time. Could be a good problem solving and collaboration exercise with each group trying to modify/alter their plane for the best results. The planes are relatively inexpensive but offer a variety of uses from decorations, party favors, rewards, or classroom challenges. They are easily assembled, stay together reasonably well, and will fly with various results upon experimentation. They offer opportunities to learn about aviation history with little ones as well. My 6 year old has trouble throwing his in a way that would allow it to take flight, but he still enjoys holding it in his hands and running around with it. They certainly bring back memories. Now...those little parachute guys.....

Nice Party Favor
For the number of planes that come with this and at such a low price this is a good deal. They are not a very good quality, nor will they last long, but you should know this because it is typical for all foam toys similar to these. We used this as a party favor for my sons 4th birthday and it was a hit. They are lots of fun and since you get soooo many there is no caring about breaking them; just grab another and get back to playing.

Childhood Memories
When I was young I used to buy these at the corner store all the time. My friend and I would spend hours playing with them (and modifying them). I started sponsoring a child in Africa and was looking for some small trinket that would be easy to send through the mail. Preferably something that if lost or damaged what no big deal. When I came across these on Amazon, The memories of playing with them came flooding back. So with each letter I send to Africa I include one of these planes. My sponsor child and his friends love playing with them. So does my 16y/o son and my 3y/o grand daughter. Pros: cheap and fun. (with a bonus of nostalgia for those of us that played with them as a child) Cons: the do bend and break, but what do you expect from a foam plane.

Great fun while they last
We bought these as favors for my son's "airplane" party and they fit the occasion perfectly. They aren't durable - after 10 or 20 tosses the foam starts denting and they don't fly well (if at all). But for the price, I didn't expect them to last long. They remind me of the dime-store plastic parachuters I bought and threw off the balcony as a kid - we would lose them after a few throws and run to buy more. There are a ton in the box and it's nothing to put them together, just grab another one and go again! We had a great time with these and I kept a bunch for the big boys. (I think my husband and father-in-law had more fun than the kids.) I thought it was cute that they come in different designs. Note the plastic choking hazard and watch the little ones. Don't expect these to last but enjoy them while they do.

Avión bonito
Son aviones a mi gusto un poco chico pero vuelan bonito, las hélices son de un plástico un poco de baja calidad porque se rompen fácil a la hora de que cae al piso o choca el avión con algo por ello baje 1 estrella

Not to shabby.
Would recommend. Didn’t come in a box lol just came as the picture I showed. They only came with 2 kinds of planes green and the orange. But they were a hit in surprise bags
