Beautifully made and authentic sound!
I received this plush Blue Jay toy in just 2 days. It was in new condition and not damaged in any way from shipping. The toy looks very life-like, with all the colorings and markings of a real Blue Jay. There is a small sticker in on the bird's back - "Press Here". When you press, there is a truly authentic (Audubon approved) Blue Jay call. Fun! I bought this and three others from the Wild Republic line of Audubon birds. The Goldfinch hasn't arrived yet, but the Cardinal and Robin are just as nice as this Jay. I'm giving as a gift to a relative who doesn't get outside much anymore, and I'm sure they will bring a smile! I originally thought I would perch them, or attach them somehow, to a large, potted silk plant, but they are too substantial for that, so I found a round rattan tray here on Amazon to serve as a "nest" for the four of them and I'll present them in that. They would also make nice gifts for any of your "birder" friends.

Loud, soft, great for small kids
My toddler loves birds, and there are a lot of blue jays that live around us. He loves this little stuffed bird so much. The call is loud and obnoxious, but sounds just like a blue jay; because of this he can recognize their calls and gets very excited when he hears one outside.

Granddaughter loves this blue jay.
I have ordered other birds since ordering the blue jay. The bird is soft and lovable and the sound is accurate. At 18 months, the granddaughter can recognize the blue jays outside. Next we will be the painted bunting and then the cardinal. I think knowing about the birds and their unique sounds will help her respect and care for the birds in her yard. All God's creatures are special.

Received a defective one but a replacement is being sent
I received this today and needless to say this poor bird looks rough. The sewing is completely asymmetrical, the line around the neck is not lining up and the eyes makes it look silly. However a replacement is about to be sent at no cost so I will update my review once received and hope I just got unlucky and got a defective one which can happen. Update: received the replacement today and it’s way better ! Thank you !

Wow!
We bought this blue jay for our 2 years old son. It is one we often see around the yard. We all love it. - Great quality: nice details and solid. The little one dropped it a few times and it still works - The sound is very similar to the real one - Just the perfect size (not to big, not to small) - Batterie is long lasting; sound is being played many times a day. The only “downside” is regarding the battery. It does not seem to be a way to change it when it dies. Other than that, it is an amazing product and we really recommend it!

Adorable bluejay
