Cool tank, weird instructions
This tank set was assembled primarily by my 16yr old son, who has put together numerous name-brand and generic/knock-off brick sets. The quick bottom-line summary: Not amazing bricks, weird instructions, flimsy stickers, but a really cool looking tank to display at the end. Not a fun build but the end-result was way better than anticipated. The details: The building bricks are full-size and compatible with name brand sets but are also very stiff and difficult to click together. Every single piece has to be fought with and pushed hard to snap into place. The major issue with this set though is the instructions. I didn’t expect the instructions to micromanage the build process, since it’s a set clearly intended for teens & adults, but these were just…bizarre. The instructions would often tell you that you need, for example, 6 of a particular piece for the next section and then only have you use 3. Sometimes the instructions even would say you need 10 of a specific piece when there aren’t even 10 of that piece in the entire set. It made things unnecessarily confusing and had my kid frequently looking for pieces he didn’t even need or double-checking the build when he had leftover pieces at the end of a section. The instructions also have you jumping around and assembling sections that you haven’t gotten to yet - at one point even stopping midway through one bag to open another bag, put together something completely different that you don’t need until the end, and then having you go back and finish the rest of the original bag you were working on. For no particular reason. And the stickers. If you can get the clear protective covering off them without tearing the sticker, then you are a better human being than me. I gave up after the 3rd one. This model’s saving grace is that, once completed, it does look pretty darn cool and will make a nice display item. Doesn’t really roll forward very well, but the turret moves up and down and pivots. So if you are an avid collector or military enthusiast, it would be worth bumbling through the instructions to end up with a cool tank at the end. But other than that, it was not a fun assembly process. Would give 3.5 stars if that was an option, because overall coolness of the end product did help to make up for everything else.

Schönes Modell aus World of Tanks

Cool looking set, but a bit lacking compared to other Reobrix tank sets.
I enjoyed building this set, but TBH, it felt lacking compared to the other Reobrix tanks I've built. I like how Reobrix not only group numbers bags of pieces, but also sequentially numbers each bag within the group, with this set though, pieces that should've been in one bag were mixed into a later bag, and a couple bags were out of sequence entirely. The set uses the press on/peel the backer away decals that other Reobrix tank sets use, but where other sets have had the decal placement instructions included as you build, this one doesn't do them till the end of the build. Another thing with this one is that others of their tank sets I've done use gears to keep the treads aligned, this one just uses wheels, which have to be adjusted beyond what the instructions specify to keep them aligned, and the treads do not roll very cleanly. The good, the instructions were clear and overall easy to follow while building the set, there were no missing or damaged pieces, and for the price, it's a pretty decent set, and will make a nice addition to my collection.
