Who knew water bottles could be this cool?
The launcher allows you to build and enjoy a relatively safe yet awesome rocket experience. The instructions are a little difficult to follow, but the videos are great. It took about 30 - 45 minutes to assemble the launcher and prepare the soda bottles, and tie up the optional parachute. My first trial sent the rocket a little over 70’ (give or take) and that was only at 1/3 the max pressure (125 psi)! That was A LOT higher than I was expecting, so be careful of your surroundings, mindful of the wind speed and direction at height, and make sure you have a large enough recovery area (empty baseball field or park would be ideal). The parachute assembly deployed properly and brought everything easily back to the ground without damage. Watch out for trees if the wind is blowing. I can’t wait to get out again with my grandson and see how high we can go.

Water Bottle Rocket
Works great but material could be a bit tougher as one fin broke off after about the 15 run.......

Reliable, well-built product
I bought this to play with my son. He loves it! The biggest issue is that I'm out of shape, which is a bit of a factor when using a bicycle pump to pump the bottles up over and over (and over and over) again. The unit is very well built, and will likely be in good functioning order well after my son is old enough that he no longer wants to play with it (at which point I'll pack it up for when I have grandchildren). There are three things to note about this product: - First, when you attach the clamp to the release mechanism, the instructions specifically state that you shouldn't over tighten the clamp. They are right; if the release mechanism is sticking, loosen the clamp until it moves freely again. - Second, while the rocket is designed to work with water, it can work using air alone. To do so, you will need to make sure that the nozzle is screwed in tight; this may require you to cut away part of the soda bottle (NOT the nozzle!). The advantage of using pure air is that it takes less pressure (and therefore less pumping with your tired arms) to make it go up high. In addition, it will fly straighter than if you use water (the instructions explain how to build a nose cone, but I haven't tested this yet). - Finally, be sure to have several rockets ready and available to use! We lost one in a tree, and if we didn't have the second one my son would have been extremely disappointed!

Lots of fun
Overall a great toy, and it goes super high up. Only one issue, fins break easily.
