Was iffy on getting this costume because of the reviews but I’m happy I did. Baby boy looked so cute in it and I loved how it fit. The lion mane definitely had to be brushed out a bit and did shed a little but it wasn’t anything that would make me complain.

Great costume!
I purchased this for my 4 month old. It fit him very well. I absolutely love the costume and it looked adorable on him. I didn't have any issue with fuzz coming off of it. The eyes are not made of buttons as shown in the add and the ears are a bit longer, but I'm still very happy with my purchase.

Poor quality, oddly stitched together and runs on the short side through the torso
Runs small length wise. All other 0-3 month items fit my less than 2 month old easily. In fact, they usually are big and long on him. This one, however, is on the short side throw the torso area and it is difficult to get his leg on the side without the zipper. It rides up right again his crotch and is difficult to zip past his crotch. Part of the problem appears to be how it is stitched together. The leg without the zipper is shorter than the leg with the zipper and it is bunched and stitched oddly where the leg joins the crotch (see the pictures). Also for the price the quality is quite lacking. The fur looks very shabby and comes out of you try to brush it to smooth it out. The inside sheds fluffy all over the baby and his clothing. For more than $30, I expected more. Overall I am very disappointed.

Very cute in person, runs small
The costume sheds quite a bit but it's adorable and we got lots of compliments. I bought the 0-3 size for my son who was about a month and a half old at the time (and pretty small for his age), and it was very tight on him. Another week and we probably wouldn't have been able to squeeze him into it.

So cute and true to size!
Adored this costume and was so pleased to see it ran true to size. We ordered another 0/3 month lion costume before this one and it was ridiculously large. This fit my 2 month old perfectly! It’s also thick and warm so best for a cooler night.

Adorable and affordable
Very adorable and great price!! Highly recommend! Yes, it sheds but Halloween gets messy so who cares. Super warm for baby. The little tail is the cutest thing!!

Runs small
Runs small. My baby (50th percentile, so not a huge guy) fit in it, but the hood was closer to the top of his head than his eyebrows, if that makes sense, and we couldn't quite get the zipper up the whole way. Totally didn't matter though - he looked adorable and was sitting in his stroller the whole time anyway. We did have to cut the hand part off, since he kept trying to put his hands in his mouth and the fake fur came off everywhere. Great for a single wear, for a few hours. Perfect for Halloween. Not a product for long-term use. 3 stars because it ran small, and because of the wayward fur. Otherwise served its purpose well.

Too small and bad quality but it's good enough.
It's not great quality. The material is okay but the sewing is very sloppy and not well proportioned. I got the 3/6 month size and it was almost too small to fit. The hood was definitely too small and the zipper didn't go up all the way and I couldn't do up the velcro strap at the top. My baby is not yet 6 months old and he is about 15 pounds. He still looks cute and it's good enough to wear for the Halloween events I need it for but I wouldn't buy it again if I had the choice.
