Love the kits. Good detail for 1:700 scale kits. Purchased, Kaga, Soryu, Hutu, Akagi. Like all 1:700 kits a lot of patience is needed and several types of tweezers. No flash whatsoever. All went together flawlessly. I’m looking for photo-etched parts to super detail my next set of purchases. Deliver is about a week to ten days but worth the wait. Plan to buy more ships until my battle at Midway is complete.

素人レビューです。パーツ数も程よく艦橋やマストなどの細部表現も、このスケールの素組みでしたら納得でしょう。ただ、艦載機が足りません。限定版などでの艦載機満載版が欲しく思います。価格は問いません。

One of the best available.
This is one of the better 1:700 scale aircraft carrier kits. While it is made to look as I prefer, like if it's in the water, (as are all waterline kits), and superior detail than non Japanese brands. This kit has a feature I've only seen in two others, HIJMS Kaga and HIJMS Junyo, of having interior Hangar detail. The elevators can be installed flush to the flight deck or lowered to the top hangar deck. Aircraft can be postioned not only on the lowered elevator but forward and aft of the elevators inside the hangar. These and the recessed boat wells in the stern give it an additional 3D effect over most others. The only detractor I've noticed, and it's slight, is unlike most of the others it doesn't have a separate red bottom piece. This was not a big deal.
