You will never catch me writing anything bad about any HanaYama puzzle I personally depend very heavily on reviews that are posted on Amazon, as do many other consumers. I not only read what reviewers say, but look to see what their pictures reveal about a products true quality and description. I aim to not only feature the products I review in many different aspects, analyzing many qualities, I also provide my own opinions on ALL the good AND bad experiences I have with the product I review. I take time to learn and use a product as it was intended before I review it, and I have used this specific product thoroughly. My rating system: 5 - Met all my expectations. Was described and pictured perfectly. Exactly what I wanted and needed. Extremely useful product and a great value. Would recommend to family and friends. 4 - Very good product. Exactly as described. May have a minor flaw, mentioned in the review, that does not detract from the products perceived value. Would recommend to family and friends. 3 - Average product. Not exactly as described, or misleading advertising or product pictures. Possibly substandard build quality, or something else explained in the review. Would mention as an option to family and friends, but not recommend. 2 - Wouldn't recommend this product. Poor build quality, not close to being as described. Flimsy and fragile. Difficult to use due to product flaws. 1 - Do not purchase whatsoever. Usually only given if product lasts only a few hours/days/etc. I do not leave 1 star reviews without contacting the seller. I will be returning the product. I did NOT receive ANY discount for this product. I simply enjoy reviewing every one of my purchases.

Hard, fun, and shiny!
This "simple" puzzle gave me hours of enjoyment. Even just the tactile nature of it was very satisfying. It's made of solid metal with a polished finish. The shape is very interesting. It reminds me of a ship from Star Trek or maybe a Sci-Fi video game. This thing is hard to solve. It took me several hours on a Saturday to solve, and that's just to get it apart. It took me the rest of the day to figure out how to work backwards. It would still take me a decent amount of time to get it apart and back together even having solved it already. I like how solid this thing feels. It's a very hard puzzle to solve so if you are looking to buy a puzzle that takes a while to solve and you want to get hours of puzzle solving experience, you won't be disappointed here. The only thing I don't like is after it's been used several times, it's supposed to lock together once it's back together and that lock doesn't feel as solid as it was. But that's not a huge deal. Overall it's a very challenging puzzle to solve. It's so much fun to hand it to family and friends and watch them try to solve it. Worth every pennie

Still trying to solve this one.
Looking for a difficult puzzle? This may be the one you want. I have had this for about 4 weeks and I estimate I have taken about 2 hours time trying to solve it. Still not there yet. It looks like it would be not that hard to solve but for sure that is deceiving. I like brain teasers and puzzles and so far this one has me perplexed. I am pretty adept at disentanglement puzzles and the like but this one has been testing my patience and fortitude for sure.It surely deserves the level 5 difficulty. Reading through the reviews I see a few where the reviewers claim this to be an easy puzzle to solve while the majority of reviews I think are being more honest and admitting that it is indeed more difficult than it appears. I purchased this in the 3 pc combo and the other two I had solved within a 1/2 hour of receiving them. They are also good puzzles just not as difficult as this little two rings of frustration. One of those two puzzles was very simple to solve, at least for me because I have seen other puzzles that use the same trick to solve them. For those that have given the various puzzles less stars because they could not solve the puzzles, it is the whole idea behind the "puzzle" to be difficult so why would you take stars away from a product that is precisely what it is supposed to be? Don't knock off stars because you can't solve the puzzle. If it was easily solved it would not be a "puzzle".

Intriquing
I have attempted to solve this puzzle maze frequently but have yet to prevail. It is easy to see what must be done but rather difficult to make it so. The fact that it is all black certainly adds to the difficulty. I have managed though to get it locked into a frozen position a few times. A lot of fun here and I will keep at it.

HANAYAMA LABYRINTH BRAIN TEASER
Beautiful puzzle! The disk is a double sided maze (maze is not the same at all) and the half moon, or loop has an off-set pin at each apex. There are two different locations of entry to the double sided maze. Oh yes, the two entries to choose from, are on each side, for a total of four! The idea of this puzzle is to find an entry on each side of the center of the disk and start the pins on the loop into the mazes. Work the pins through your chosen maze to get the loop/pins to the outer part of the disk and freedom. Love the challenge! Recommended!
