Best fountain pen ever
Very smooth writing. Ink does not dry even if pen is unused for days. Comfortable to hold. Superior product.

Genialer Füller
Ich habe diesen Füller direkt beim Hersteller erworben. Und nutze ihn jetzt seit ein paar Tagen als meinen Haupt-Füller. Lieferumfang: Beim Hersteller kam der Stift in einer hübschen Kunststoffbox. Nach dem Öffnen hat man den Füller schön präsentiert vor sich. Darunter befindet sich über in einer kleinen Schachtel eine Patrone nebst der Metallhülse für die Stabilisierung derselben und eine vom Hersteller bereits ausgefüllte Garantiekarte. Im Fuller selbst ist bereits ein Konverter vorinstalliert. Inbetriebnahme: Das Öffnen des Füller ist geht unproblematisch durch Schrauben. Beim Befüllen des Konverters ist aber etwas Geduld gefragt. Man muss die Tinte mehrfach hinein und wieder heraus drehen, damit sich auch der Rest des Stiftes füllt. Trotzdem habe ich es nicht geschafft den Konverter ganz zu füllen. Das ist besonders deshalb schade, weil er er recht klein ist. Beim ersten Schreiben fiel mir aber sofort auf wie samtweich er schreibt. Qualität: Absolut toll. Es ist meine erste Goldfeldern und ich bin begeistert von dem Schreibgefühl. Ich habe eine feine Feder und nutze die Pilot Iroshizuku Tinte. Die fielßt toll aus dem Füller und ist auch nicht zu feucht für Notizen. Ein feiner Lamy al-star ist m.E. feuchter. Ich hatte zuerst befürchtet, dass der Clip beim Schreiben stören könnte. Aber das ist gar nicht der Fall. Da der Clip beim Decimo gerade ist, kann man auch die Griffposition leicht variieren. Und auch 20-30 Minuten schreiben am Stück hat sich für mich noch angenehm angeführt. Das mag auch daran liegen, dass der Decimo sich unheimlich leicht anfühlt. Er ist spürbar leichter als meine anderen Füller. Dabei gleitet die Feder fast reibungslos über das Papier. Es kratzt nichts und auch das recht dicke untere Ende des Füllers stört bei ausgefahrener Mine gar nicht. Im Gegenteil: Die schmale Feder lässt einen guten Blick auf das Papier zu. Jetzt bleibt eigentlich nur noch ein Punkt: die Dicke. Für mich (Mann mit eher kleinen Händen) ist es so genau richtig. Der etwas dickere Capless wäre da vermutlich schon zu viel. Aber das ist natürlich sehr individuell. Fazit: Ich hatte mir den Füller hauptsächlich für schnelle Notizen und Meetings gekauft. Aber ich merke jetzt schon, dass ich auch für längeres Schreiben oft zum Decimo greife. Ich denke er wird schnell einen festen Platz in meinem Federmäppchen haben. Ich nutze ihn gerne und bin froh mich dafür entschieden zu haben. Gerade in Kombination mit Pilot iroshizuku kon peki ein Hingucker.

Great find!
This pen shipped out the next day after ordering and arrived in decent time for something sent to Canada from oversees (a few weeks in advance of the estimated arrival time at that!). It was packed up nice and safe in a bubble wrap envelope and the pen itself comes in a black Pilot box containing English/Japanese instructions, Japanese documentation from Pilot and a black ink cartridge. This is my first gold nib pen and I love how the decimo has a slim body, it fits great in my hand :D The F nib is pretty fine as you might expect from a Japanese brand and it has a great little bit of spring to it! While I was worried the feed wasn't working at first, the trick is to squeeze the cartridge after fitting it into the nib unit. After doing that it writes like a dream from what I've tested. I can't wait to start using it for more hardcore note taking once school gets started :D This was great deal too, especially considering most western retailers don't carry this colour of the decimo (and it was ~$50 cheaper than the decimos at go-to pen retailer). Thanks for the great prompt service, I have a feeling this will be my new workhorse pen!

If you only get one fountain oen
Make it this one or the thicker vanishing point. I went with the fine version and it’s a nice line width.

Top Notch
If there is a better, more stylish, retractable fountain pen I have never heard of it. It's not cheap compared to a Bic, but it's a flippin' steal when you compare it to a Mont Blanc! This, it's heavier and more robust Vanishing Point brother (non-Decimo...same shape, more metal), and the Lamy 2000 are the finest fountain pens you can buy. Change my mind.

This Pen is fantastic! The Decimo is perfect to hold in the hand, and the clip is not intrusive. I have the Vanishing Point Pilot pen in medium as well. The fine tip is perfect! Thank you God for your good gift! May you have all the glory!
