Still spectacular when speaker free

The battery section is secured with the screw to help prevent kids accidentally getting into it if they’re left unattended with the parrot, but please always be aware of the danger of these batteries being ingested by kiddos and how damaging they are for intestines. Because those circular batteries around kids give me the heebeejeebees (regardless of how secured they are), I took out batteries and all sticker references of the parroting interaction before giving this toy to my under 2 year old. This has turned into our youngest’s — a bird-loving toddler — favorite toy/accessory. He wears it everywhere - from outings to naptime. He kisses it and shows it off to anyone around. It stays on well—not too tight to become uncomfortable or cut off circulation. Sometimes the bird ends up being upside down, but we figured out putting the black side on under the red side helps with keeping the bird upright. I plan to buy a second, because I see in 10 days how this has turned THE childhood toy for our littlest.

Absolutely perfect for my daugher's pirate costume!

I bought this for my daughter's Halloween costume this year. I looked at all of the options for parrots and they all have elastic bands that are supposed to go over the shoulder. I've dealt with that design before with kids and angel wings and devil wings etc. and it's always an issue! They're constantly dealing with the strap sliding down and it's so annoying. Never fits right for an adult or a kid. So this looked perfect and it is! A parrot slapband. We tried it and she does have to push it a little farther up her arm for balance, because the parrot is top-heavy. But it's super cute, AND the voice recording actually works! She's making it say "trick or treat!" and a funny parrot squawk.

Very fun

This little slap bracelet is a lot of fun. My granddaughter loves it! It was tricky to figure out how to get him to repeat what you say to it, but we figured it out after a bit. He is very good at repeating exactly what is said to him. Unfortunately my granddaughters dog got to it and did some damage which my granddaughter was so mortified about but we quickly got a replacement and that made her very happy.

Well loved

My special needs boy is OBSESSED with huggers and this one was no different. He loves his Scarlett macaw and it’s done well in holding up to his constant snuggling. I would have rated higher but the recording function did not work at delivery. :(

Cute toy pet!!

My daughter had this bird as a class traveling pet in her classroom. She loved it so much and wanted one of her own. Love that it can copy what you say and has a slap band feature to sit on your wrist! Great and fun toy!

Sound box did not work

Sound box did not work at all. Just beeped a few times and then died. Tried changing batteries, but got nothing. I didn't need it for the sound, but would have been nice to hear it.

Not too loud

My daughter really wanted this since she’s seen one of these birds in her school. Well…as parents were not really fans of anything that speaks in a high pitched voice. Especially since our daughter tends to get louder and louder until she, too, screams at the thing on the top of her lungs. Luckily, this bird isn’t super loud so she won’t get too loud either. Ist kinda cute. Super simple little present that my daughter takes everywhere! She LOVES that it can sit on her arm! Would absolutely buy again .

Toy is cute- but voice box was garbage

Very cute, wish the bracelet would wrap tighter to stay in one place because it is heavy on top, so it slides upside down a lot. We don’t mind, we put it on the top bar of the infant car seat. The sound box didn’t even work. It looked like the wires were hot glued together. We took it out, my mistake for not reading the reviews about it because it was clearly an issue for most people. The toy itself is cute.
