Decent detail
No instructions but simple enough to figure out. Nice detail, went together quick with superglue

Ok kit, plastic gasped to glue, see comments
Nice little kit, not quite sure what type of glue to used. Normal model glue does not seem to bond to 3D plastic. Maybe super glue. Instructions are what I imaged, a few images with arrows, no text to assemble. Did get model glue to set up after a long while. Some glued out gassed and left white marks. Spray painted tower black, platform, walls and railing brown for a nice contrast, left roof gray. Overall a nice addition to model RR layout.

OK but issues with design/manufacturing
I give this fire lookout station a 5 for appearance, a 3 for the degree of ease to assemble, and a 1 for design/manufacturing. (Overall a 3) The item is not that difficult to assemble as long as you take your time and figure out what needs to come first and as long as the pieces are not warped. However, the design has flaws in it making assembly a challenge. The stair landings are too narrow to fit properly (see pic). Many of the grooves and tabs needed to be shaved down with a rotary tool in order to fit the pieces together (handrails on the deck, the holes in the deck that the support pieces go through, etc.). Some of the tabs for the walls of the cabin needed to be removed to fit walls between the support poles (I was concerned that the walls would be too brittle to bend to fit into place). The walls were too high not allowing the roof to fit on the support posts. I had to just glue the roof to the wall. But, it looks nice if you don't look too close.

Confusing.
The model looked decent, but beware. it doesn't come with instructions on how to put it together. first thing you can't use model cement You have to use something like tacky glue. which dries clear and super glue. The other thing is beware because of the lack of instructions when you go to put the staircase in the room. of the uprights that you have to have located underneath the hole for the staircase None of the other uprights have the same holes on the side for a. side for attaching the staircase. It's also a puzzle on how to put the staircase together. Because of the lack of instructions is why I gave it a one star. or less.
