Cute and Cuddly
I never had the opportunity to give my daughter a Teddy Bear when she was little so I gave her this little guy at 45 years old and it brought tears to her eyes and she immediately fell in love with him. Teddy Bears are a great gift for your girl at any age.

Alright, but has some design issues
The bear looks much as pictured. I'm not crazy about the fur -- it's thin and not as plush as I prefer. That's personal preference, however, and not why I deducted a star. What you can't tell from the pictures is that the bear's shoulders are a bit wonky (it may also be a sample variation in the particular one I got). Otherwise, it's fine, though you'll have to fluff it up once you get it out of the shrink wrap.

Cute but pretty cheap feeling
This bear came in a a vacuum sealed bag. I had forgetting what it was until I cut into the bag and it started to spring to life, taking shape. It's a decent size -- probably about a foot tall -- and has some heft to it with its stuffing. The vacuum sealing has meant that the exterior was pretty wrinkled -- and remains so several days after being freed from its plastic bag confines. While I agree with the description that this is soft, the exterior has a thin, cheaper feeling aspect to it. The "fur" is very thin -- think of like a shiny velour -- and just doesn't look that nice in my opinion. This is clearly not like a Jellycat or even the stuffed animals we have bought at Ikea, all of which look nicer. I suspect that this may not end up being the most durable stuffed animal ever -- but I have only had it a few days, so I can't really confirm that one way or another. But everything speaks to the manufacturer using cost-effective (e.g., cheaper) construction. But we'll see... Anyway, it's cute looking, but not the highest quality option out there. I probably would not buy it as a gift for someone you want to impress. If you just want something basic that won't get beat up, maybe it will suffice.

Nice Quality Bear
Exactly as pictured. Very nice quality plush bear-- very soft and fun to squeeze and hold-- well made. You can feel the difference between poor quality and better quality. This is better quality. It smells good, it feels good, and it's really a cute bear. Great for any child who likes stuffed animals, obviously if they particularly like bears, all the better. Recommended. Would make a good gift.

4 Star Bear But Gets 5
PROS: Cute. Nice color scheme. Color of a real black bear (most are brown) Paw prints look good. No choking parts. Foot high in a sitting position. Soft but not so much that it won't sit up on its own. Comes in a sealed thick plastic bag. Inexpensive. CONS: Better than a carnival stuffed animal but not by much. This is a 4 star bear but at this price it deserves 5 stars. Children will love it yet it also makes for a nice decoration.

Super soft bear
This is a super soft and snuggley teddy bear that's soft enough to give as a gift for a newborn baby. It doesn't sit up well but it sits up so it can be placed on a dresser, in a far corner of a crib, or on the floor, and it won't fall over too easily. It has a cute smile with a single tooth showing. Adorable.
