Beautiful wooden set
Absolutely love wooden toys and this Peter rabbit set doesn't disappoint. Comes well presented in a cardboard box showing you what you're getting. Unfortunately ours came with no other packaging and the delivery label was just stuck to the box. You get 5 wooden stacking cubes and 5 little figures; Peter rabbit, Tom kitten, jemima puddle duck, Jeremy Fisher and Benjamin bunny. The cubes don't have a bottom, so can be stacked inside each other, they also have a little cut out on 2 sides, like doorways. Everything has been finished well, no rough edges or areas and have been painted in lovely colours and detailing. The figured are painted front and back, the cubes are painted on all sides. Each one is numbered and has the word aswell. A good size for small hands to hold, grasp and play with. Our 2 year old has been enjoying it, stacking them, putting them together, hiding the figures and playing putting them in and on the cubes. A great set to develop key motor skills and coordination, learn numbers 1-5 and encourage imaginative play. Looks and feels of excellent quality. Built to withstand hands on play. Would even make a lovely gift.

You can’t go wrong with a wooden toy
I ordered these Peter Rabbit stacking toys for my niece who has just turned two years old- and she absolutely loves them (and who wouldn’t). Although at first I thought they were a little pricey, I guess you will always pay extra for a brand such as Peter Rabbit with it being so iconic. However, I love the fact it is a traditional wooden toy which I believe you just can not beat, so justifies its price tag. Each beautiful carved wooden stacking block has a different design on it and is numbered, making it an educational toy which is always a plus. It also comes with the classic characters that we all know and love: Peter Rabbit, Jemima Puddle duck etc. It states it uses non-toxic paint, which is handy to know from a parents viewpoint. The blocks nicely interlock with each other and little ones will have hours of fun. Great for developing/refining fine motor skills and promoting imaginative play. I would be happy to highly recommend this toy for any curious toddler- makes a great gift to add to any child’s toy collection.

So Sweet; So pretty .Easy to store.
What a lovely thing this set of blocks and characters is. Just a delight . It looks so nice set up for a new baby or young toddler to use and look and get familiar with Beatrix Potter's wonderful world. It makes a world with the blocks as dwellings or backdrops and the little figures to people it.. Great design .Sweet and simple. The whole set is easy to store and fits inside eachother. This is a marvelous gift for early on ... the only thing is the label stuck to the box spoils it a bit for a gift . It will not come off cleanly. I made big sticker of my own and put it over it.. Still. there has to be a better way. Over all I love it and think all parents and children will love it ,too

Really great but toddlers but we got 2 of the same figure
There are five wooden cubes and 5 wooden figures in the set. The design of each cube is based on a different Beatrix Potter tale; There's a Peter Rabbit, Tom Kitten, Jemima puddle duck, Benjamin bunny and Jeremy Fisher themed block and there is one figure to match each cube. Except we didn't get a Jemima puddle duck we got two Peter Rabbit's. Which was quite disappointing, and had this been something that I'd actually bought I'd have been returning it because of that but this was probably just an error with our box. Despite the missing figure this set was an immediate hit with my two year old daughter. She loved roleplaying with the figures in their little 'houses' and then stacking the blocks up and knocking them over. I noticed that wood seemed to pick up small superficial dints very easily. The design of the cube is well thought out and has quite a few learning opportunities incorporated in to it. On the outside of every cube there is a number which is displayed as a figure, a word and in pictures. The boxes have little doorways so the can be used as houses for the figures and for acting out the stories. The outside of the box is painted and the inside is blank. The decoration is applied to a very high standard. It's a really nice set and has a charming old fashioned feel to it. It's definitely the sort of thing I'd consider buying as a gift for a toddler. It's great as long as they have all 5 different figures in your box.
