My son really wanted to be King George because he loves the Hamilton soundtracks with the king (... I will send a fully armed battalion to remind you of my love!) We scoured the nets and webs and whatnot and there were simply too many king costumes that seemed "okay" but not great. We settled on this one and it was great! It survived a few different Halloween parties and events, and was perfectly cromulent!

PERFECTION
I got this item a day earlier than stated, which was a nice bonus. This package comes complete with the shirt, sash, pants, crown and robe. The pants and shirt are pretty thin material like any other costume material. The robe has a smooth velvet like feel to it-not too heavy-but not too light either. The velcro doesn't really stay together on the robe, will probably need to pin that. I am thrilled with this find to be honest! My son is 9 and it fits him perfectly! *** My opinions are my own and we're not influenced by the seller in anyway. Poor Quality but my 6 Year old loved it!
Nice costume but please keep in mind that the material is very cheap! Shirt and pants material are almost paper thin! We didn't even use the (very very cheap) crown that came with it. We had to use a pin to keep the robe closed (the Velcro is not great). I bought a crown and scepter separately and it worked out just fine. But if you are looking for a good material, keep looking. But for one Halloween night, it worked.

Not what expected but it's alright.
My son randomly decided he wanted a king costume! I mistakenly thought it came with a sceptor since that was pictured. And I didn't realize the crown was cloth. The clothes that go underneath are a little small (he's 6 and we ordered a small) and they are itchy, uncomfortable, and cheaply made. However the cloak is awesome and it serves it's purpose of dress up!

Hamilton king
My granddaughter wanted this costume. Her mother plays Hamilton on the way to daycare and she watches this on TV. The costume is great and a really made costume. The cape and crown are so beautiful and then there is a blouse, pants and belt with the costume. She was thrilled and I was very satisfied.

Great for child play
Ordered one (size L) for 10 year old and it was a great fit. Exactly what he needed for one play at school. The material is cheap and think but for paid price it was more than we could ask for. I want to point out the picture is somewhat misleading as the pants are not really a pants, but capri. It still worked for us, but be aware.

Didn’t arrive in time - pretty upset 6 year old
Amazon has always been our go to for so many things, especially when it comes ordering items for my son to wear on spirit days at school. Unfortunately, he didn’t get to wear this to the “Kings & Queens” spirit day because it didn’t arrive in time. We ordered with days to spare, but for some reason this one just didn’t make the cut. I felt so bad because we live in a pretty rural area and we don’t have costume shops, so he wasn’t able to participate in that particular day of spirit week.

Great Cape
This was a good purchase. The crown isn't much in terms of appearance --a step up from a paper crown in terms of durability but not much better in terms of appearance. But the cape is great--solid quality and velcro closure. Excellent quality/appearance for the price for the cape alone. Purchased for dress-up but could be used for Halloween or stage without issue.
