Exactly what I was looking for! I needed some costume pearl strands for my daughter's first birthday (it was a mermaid theme and I had a treasure chest with gold chocolate coins and toys beads). The beads from the dollar store and the party store were white, not pearl, so I took a chance and bought these. The beads are big and perfect for decoration and the treasure chest looked great! Now, my older daughters can play with them and if they break, oh well, they were cheap.

Great product for price, does have initial odor
I bought 2 dozen of these to use for for a game at a bridal shower. They worked great and were good quality. We let the little girls who attended take them home at the end and they were thrilled. The closure is 2 of the beads melted together in case that's an issue for anyone but it looked fine to me. My only issue was that they did have a pretty bad odor when I took them out of the packaging. However, I hung them up in my laundry room to air out for several days and there was no odor after that. So just make sure to order in advance so you have time to air them out. Overall a great product for the price.

Will do, but don't look expensive
These beads are a little on the large size, so they don't look like an expensive strand of pearls. Of course this is reflected in the price, but I am disappointed anyway. Arrived in good condition and a day early. They would be great for my granddaughters to play dress up, just not for the glam event that I am planning.

Decent costume jewelry that served the purpose
I was definitely surprised at how big the pearls were (think marble sized versus pea sized) when they arrived and immediately thought they wouldn't be appropriate for the event that I was hosting (it was a 20's themed bridal shower). However, I brought them along and they actually looked really good on all the ladies who wore them- they are definitely costume jewelry- you can tell they are plastic, but once you put them on, the exaggerated size and length helps "make the outfit." For the price and purpose of this (one time use for pictures and favors), you can't beat it!

awesome necklaces
These necklaces are very pretty. The pearls are a nice size. I ordered these as part of a wedding shower favor. Our theme is Breakfast at Tiffanys. We want every guest to wear pearls in honor of Audrey Hepburn and howling the ladies will come dressed in a black dress. I would recommend these. Great quality. .. great price.

Perfect for party favors!
These worked fantastically for my daughter's Breakfast at Tiffany themed birthday party. Each girl received a faux pearl necklace. They are long, but perfect when halved and made to appear as two necklaces. The girls enjoyed wearing them and taking them home as part of their party favors. My only suggestion is to get them a little early, take them out of the package, and let them air out. The packaging has a strong plastic smell, but it fades rather quickly. It isn't anything that would deter me from ordering again in the future.

False advertising & non returnable
The listing for this product says they are 12 mm beads. They are not. They are itty bitty. They also do not, in any way, resemble pearls. They are simply a white bead on a string. Super tack, super ugly. I wanted these for my daughters first birthday milk bath pictures, but am not keen on having her nude in photos, so I planned to have her wear several strings of 'pearls' to give a little modesty. Since I can't retu rd n these, I just have to spend more money on something else. Avoid these. They're junk.

A Nice Surprise
These necklaces were a perfect addition to our Princess Tea Party we had for our daughters birthday. The "peals" are 8 mm which is slightly larger than your normal Mardi Gras beads and they are longer than the average necklace which was nice. We were actually surprised at how nice these were. Everything we had seen at the local stores cost much more and didn't look as nice.
