It’s hard to beat a Moleskine journal
Moleskine is just a classic. The paper is thick and feels like butter when you write. As someone who takes a lot of notes at work, I find it easier to keep up with I’m using quality paper. I have found the gridded version works great for note-taking. A notebook is one of those things that just needs to function so you don’t have to think about it, and I never have issues with ink bleeding through, pages tearing, or whatever else. I think I’ve never even had ink smudge on a Moleskine, and as a lefty, that’s actually quite the feat. Anyway, the notebook you choose may be a minor thing in the grand scheme of things, but having a Moleskine notebook is something I’ve come to appreciate.

The high quality Moleskine are known for, but a tip for delivery
Moleskin are known for their quality and this did not disappoint. Size: A tiny bit narrower than A5, but the same height. Paper: Usual moleskin paper. Off-white and a good thickness. High quality. I got the dotted version and find the spacing is ideal. I don’t like lines too wide and these are just right. IMPORTANT RE DELIVERY PACAKGING: My product revived damaged, but I have not let this impact my review as there is a big difference between the product and the delivery - those are two entirely separate things. One is in control of the manufacturer and the other isn’t. Moleskin notebooks come wrapped in cellophane, which protects them until they are opened. However, I would just make sure that you select to have the product packaged by Amazon, as the default shipping method for this item is for the Amazon distribution centre to just stick an address label directly onto the cellophane. In the back of a delivery van, being thrown anbout, and going through a letter box, there’s therefore no protection for the corners, which were damaged. This is not a reflection of the quality of the product, but just of Amazon’s delivery and their attempts to save on boxes. SO, WEN YOU GET TO CHEK-OUT, MAKE SURE TO CHECK WHETHER OR NOT HAVING THIS NOTEBOOK PUT IN PACKAGING IS AN EXTRAQ OR A DEFAULT as if packaging is extra, they’ll just stick a label straight on it. Hope that helps. Your delivery might be fine without, but it costs no extra and just in case it hel;ps it. Is something I thought I’d mention.
