Cute not sure of water retention
Marketed as bath toys, we've only used them as regular toys. My 7 month old loves them. Perfect size to chew on. Fun to rattle. Not sure if water gets trapped we haven't used them to squirt water

CUTE BATH RATTLE not so much a squirt toy
I agree with others about the safety risk of mold due to how hard it is to dry on the inside with such a small opening. I still use them in the bath because they are quite cute and my boy loves the rattles in the shell. They are well made though. It is easy to clean the outside.I do appreciate that they sell them in pairs so it’s a good bang for your buck. These aren’t soft toys, but they are smooth.
